Re: Trouble with multi-monitor setup. - unable to play

just diccovered that it can be fixed by editing ~/.frozenbyte/Trine2/options.txt setOption(renderingModule, "ForceFullscreenWidth", 1920) setOption(renderingModule, "ForceFullscreenHeight", 1080) You should make it more accessible, and *DEFAULT* when detecting multiple monitors, ...

[Solved] Trine2 ,Linux , Multimonitor problem - please fix

I started to play Trine2 yesterday, its great, fantastic like the previous one. Playing on Nvidia , with two monitors. The problem is: when started in window mode, mouse is allowed to travel outside window. Ifstarted in fullscreen, like I prefer, it starts on one monitor just fine, but if I move mou...

Re: Linux: Trine does not save my game/settings properly.

Hi - The crash is caused by having joystick device /dev/input/js0 It's created by btnx , which is configured by btnx-config , a *very* useful tool for gamin with ligitech MX mouse, allowing full use of all its buttons. (no I don't know why it creates a joystick device, but it's most likely able to e...

Re: Linux: Trine does not save my game/settings properly.

please tell me what triggers the saving of config files.
like: if I install from scratch, then start the game, adjust volume, exit (without playing) - should the settings be saved ? (or are they saved only on completing a level or something like that ?)

Re: Linux: Trine does not save my game/settings properly.

renamed ~/.frozenbyte/trine/ to ~/.frozenbyte/trine-OLD/
started, enabled subtitles, changed volume, and custom keys. - quit.
then started game again - none of these settings are saved.
- a new /trine/+subfolders are created.

Re: Linux: Trine does not save my game/settings properly.

Hi, my saveslot, difficulty ,control configuration is still not saved.
(I installed TrineUpdate3.32.run)
the /home/andre/trine/Trine_updates.txt mentions 1.08
- I did complete the game once, but did not discover the extra level that is mentioned in the update-file.

Useful feedback for developers:

My experience is based on Linux x32 Trine: 1.- Not being able to save at checkpoints, makes pause important, *please pause music while paused* - so it's not annoying for those who cannot play continuously for long periods of time. 2.- Ctrl-G - mouse grab/ungrab is a great feature that all Linux game...

Re: Trine on Linux (32bit) not saving games?

did anyone manage to make it save at a checkpoint, and load after exit/restart ? I cannot make it load from a checkpoint, only whole level - at the beginning. (after starting the game, clinking "continue" sends me to start of the level) also, I cannot save subtitles/volume/controller (I ca...

Linux: Trine does not save my game/settings properly.

It runs just wonderful, I tweaked controls, volume & played for 30minutes. Then - on next launch, it forgot all about volume, I were able to "continue" - from start after the academy. - during play, the saveslot is updated, but on next launch "continue" starts the level after...
