ia32-libs is the package name in ubuntu for 32bit stuff. but if u installing drivers from website then u have some problems. so its better to run sudo sh NVIDIA-blablainstaller.run --uninstall and then install the drivers from distro repository to have everything working or use the x-swat ppa to be ...

ahh windows...sry my bad..somehow instantly thought you are using some linux distro:) but i think you 8600m is quite a bottleneck for this game. rest should be fine enaugh. u could try to tweak some options in nvidia control panel tho. reducing some quality settings and stuff like that..maybe it wil...

do u have 32bit libs installed (dunno how its called in archlinux)
multilib?..maybe...not sure..anyway.. for trine2 you need 32bit compatibility libraries.

works fine for me on 64bit Mint with ia32libs installed

that shadow bug when flashlight is turned on seems fixed in the 11.5 catalyst. at least works fine for me now.

it seems good now with my setup.. alltho some objects still dont have AA, like characters and some chains etc. but thats minor issue. next graphical glitch to work out would be the Glow. somehow glow is really bad in linux version, it is blocky..or dunno how to describe it better...its not smooth at...

if u have 64bit OS then install 64bit trine
or if u want to install 32bit trine on 64bit system then install ia32-libs (dunno exact package name, check from ur package manager)

maybe the problem is there?

also framerate might be bad because system thinks ur cpu is still in idle and cpu will have idle frequency if u using gnome then add cpu frequency scaler applet to ur gnome panel and set the mode to "performance" before u enter the game. its known problem with many games that if the settin...

if u have cool and quiet enabled from ur motherboard BIOS then add cpu frequency scaler to your gnome panel (dunno whats in KDE, probably something similar) and before u enter the game set the mode to Performance. this helps greatly if its on the setting "ondemand" then cpu frequency might...

do u have 64bit debian or 32?
if u have 64bit then install also ia32 libs ..dunno exact package name..check from ur package manager.

additionaly..delete .frozenbyte folders and start the game from the Trine-launcher32 or Trine-launcher64 if u have 64bit system.
