Re: How to play Jack Claw on Linux?

Played today this small level/demo. There is no menu, only a loading screen and then blank. Pressing enter the game continues with a small movie. Working great with a Logitech Rumblepad 2. I was able to move, grab and throw cars and objects. I destroyed that final pillar (or whatever it was) and the...

Re: Linux: Bad performance under Linux (64-bit)

I play Trine at 1280x1024 with everything at maximum. I can also force (from nvidia-settings) the antialising at 16x and anisotropic also at 16x. This way the average framerate after 10 min of gameplay is 62 FPS. Never saw the framerate at below 60. Quality of the image = like a dream :) I suppose I...

Re: `GLIBCXX_3.4.14' not found

I'm sad ... :-( 24.4.2011 [18:31] ERROR: EXT_texture_compression_s3tc required ERROR: Your graphics card cannot run this game. You can try updating your drivers. That's a pity indeed. :( But you cannot blame the Humble guys, they said from the very beginning that the games won't run on Intel graphi...

Re: `GLIBCXX_3.4.14' not found

If you want to get help you need to provide some more details than this. The graphic card type, the drivers you use....etc.
I don't think that the guys can help you with something as vague as "rendering errors".

And frankly, the game is working perfectly.

Re: `GLIBCXX_3.4.14' not found

I'm also a bit puzzled about this unofficial update change-log. Short changelog: Installer issue has been fixed. I see in the archive only two updated executable for running the game and some shaders. What installer? Isn't this update suppose to be applied to an already installed game? What I'm gett...

Re: `GLIBCXX_3.4.14' not found

Interesting. I'm having the same error at install time. However, after extracting the installer (seems to be a zip file?) the game runs without problems. I've also copied inside the updated files from the small unofficial update above and everything seems OK. So in short, extract the installer in a ...

Re: Xbox360 Controller Ubuntu

(hat still wont work though, havent looked into changing that into buttons, might work, but low priority now) Use: xboxdrv --trigger-as-button --dpad-as-button You made me curious about co-op mode. Eventually I managed to set the whole thing to be played in three (with three gamepads) http://img716...

Re: Xbox360 Controller Ubuntu

The xpad driver is not so great indeed. You better try the "xboxdrv" driver, I suppose is in the repos already for Ubuntu. Not quite straightforward to set and use though. You'll have to remove the xpad driver first sudo rmmod xpad then load uinput sudo modprobe uinput and finally start xb...
