Re: Linux preorder?

Probably not. The preorders are through Steam, which does not support Linux. The Frozenbyte people are probably kind enough that they will give you the Linux version later if you buy the Windows version now, but for the time being I am waiting (or considering adding a Windows partition...)

Re: Release date

:D :D :D
Almost tempting enough to make me install Windows... beta access already? Anyone on here played it yet?

And what a nice price. Only $15 for a game like this is a steal.

Re: Release date

We are using the console certification time to focus on PC/Mac usability/technical. Are you using "PC" as a synonym for "Windows," or does that include Linux as well? Indeed that means Windows/Mac. Linux will be separate, we'll focus on that once the game has been successfully l...

Re: Linux Version, Please tell me you have/planning one

I'm not 100% sure, but I think that everything in the Ubuntu Software Center is in .deb format. So would it be possible for you folks to send the debians to Humble Bundle when you make the debian versions available? Ubuntu uses .deb, yes, but I'm not sure if some of the new third-party stuff availa...

Re: Cross platform multiplayer

So no co-op with console players if you're on PC- what about co-op with Windows or OS X users if you run Linux? That might be less of a hurdle.

Re: Linux Version, Please tell me you have/planning one

Overall I think we've been happy with the Linux sales - or the portion of Linux users in the Humble Frozenbyte Bundle, that was awesome. Linux does come with more technical support issues so that's something we need to be better prepared for (still have many issues unsolved for Trine/SGs). Anyway I...

Re: `GLIBCXX_3.4.14' not found

Hey, hi guys. I read all the posts and the cpnsole solution for debian XD But I'm not debian user, I have Mandriva 2010.2, and in the install process i have the same error: ./Trine-1.32.run: /usr/lib/libstdc++.so.6: version `GLIBCXX_3.4.14' not found (required by ./Trine-1.32.run) Well, I hope get ...

Re: `GLIBCXX_3.4.14' not found

@javix and capponz: As alt_turo mentioned, that installer file was just a test to see if the installer would start up properly. It does not actually have the game in it. Hi, I had the same problem with Debian 6.0 (stable) 32-bit. I have updated libstdc++ to wheezy's version (Debian testing). libstdc...

Re: `GLIBCXX_3.4.14' not found

The game should not be using system libav libraries but the ones shipped with the game. Did the previous versions work? Please paste the output of ldd trine-bin32 ldd trine-bin64 I thought the .run file was the installer? None of the libraries shipped with the game should even be in place yet. I do...

Re: SELinux: shadowgrounds-bin attempted access on libFLAC.s

Fedora's default SELinux settings are very strict. Basically, don't expect anything that wasn't installed through your package manager to be allowed to run. Allegedly there are ways of telling SELinux that you want to allow certain programs through, but I was never able to figure it out. The Fedora ...

Re: `GLIBCXX_3.4.14' not found

Good. I just sent the updated packages to Frozenbyte. In the meantime you can download an unofficial update here: http://alternativegames.net/temp/trineUnofficialUpdate2.zip BEWARE! THIS HAS NOT BEEN EXTENSIVELY TESTED! Short changelog: Installer issue has been fixed. There should be an "oxyge...

Re: `GLIBCXX_3.4.14' not found

Tester required! Download these files http://alternativegames.net/temp/trineInstaller64 http://alternativegames.net/temp/trineInstaller32 And try to execute. This is the installer but without the data files so it doesn't actually do anything. If the installer starts then it's good. That works on De...
