(solved) linux - gamepad - running in opposite direction

hello, i configured gamepad in trine 2. everything seems to be working, fine except that when i move analog stick to right, character starts running left and vice versa. jstest reports full left as a value of -32767 of axis, full right as a value of 32767. i can provide more info if needed. cheers, ...

(solved) trine 2 linux - only one gamepad working

hello, i am trying to use 2 gamepads in trine 2 but unfortunately only presses from one of them are detected. i can see that both are detected (2 entries for gamepads), but when i configure keys, nothing gets through. i tested gamepads separately - they work fine. gamepads share the same usb id, may...

Re: Trine2 for Linux - window mode

thank you (joel?), using 800x600 works fine at 30fps on lowest details. sometimes fullscreen switches to borderless window mode (could be gnome-shell dependent) but as long as the game does not crash, it is okay. one other thing i noticed is that after quitting trine2 my monitor refresh rate changes...

Trine2 for Linux - window mode

i purchased t2 for linux yesterday. it is a bit choppy in fullscreen and on lowest detail settings on my nvidia 9500gt (binary driver) so i tried window-mode. unfortunately in window mode i do not see the scene (only character icons in upper left corner and selected weapon in lower right). anyone ha...

Re: cannot start on linux

following the procedure below fixed it at last:

You have to move libopenal* libasound* libvorbis* libogg* out of the lib (or lib32 if you run 64 bits) folder, and then the game starts nicely.

Re: cannot start on linux

thank you for your reply, i don't think however this is related to libxml2. the game launcher starts with this error (warning?) but as soon as i press launch i get "Got signal 11 at 0x883a from 0x883a". hence i guess it'd make sense to concentrate on this one. eventhough i can imagine back...

cannot start on linux

i'm getting the following in console output. any idea what could be wrong? arch linux 32bit, nvidia blob. ./survivor-launcher: ./lib32/libxml2.so.2: no version information available (required by /usr/lib/libglade-2.0.so.0) Got signal 11 at 0x883a from 0x883a /usr/bin/shadowgrounds-survivor-launcher:...

can't move crosshair using joypad (linux)

hello, despite the fact that independent move of character and crosshair works flawlessly in trine, i can't get it working in shadowgrouns survivor (both HIB3 versions). simply, i cannot get the crosshair moving at all. the crosshair is just sitting there in single player mode, in coop it is shared ...

Re: Trine gamepad controllers configuration tips/troubleshoo

hello joel, i noticed that in linux version of the game (part of HIB3) i do not see knight's throw and/or thief's attack action among the list of actions as i do for mouse+keyboard controls. i don't know if this is okay or there's a bug in the code. either way the list of wizard's actions (3x) is th...
