Microsoft no longer charges devs for game patches...

... So would this entice you guys and gals at Frozenbyte to patch Trine 2 on Xbox 360 at all? I know it's been some time since its release, but I know I would like to get a patch for it, with the various bug fixes and minor updates that aren't DLC related (since that's a whole different thing  ...

Re: Trine Linux update

Will this update be making its way to our Humble Frozenbyte Bundle pages? Because that would be great!

Re: PS3 version of Trine 2 doesn't offer 3D?

No way. I'll take better 2D visuals than reduced visuals that have 3D any day. I really hope that 3D is just a phase and goes away sometime, because having to wear glasses is ridiculous. Frozenbyte did a great job on Trine 2, and it looks amazing on my Xbox 360. Can't wait to see your next big proje...

Re: Trophies

I can say with 95% certainty, that 'yes', it will have a platinum trophy. Here's a link to the achievement/trophy list: http://www.giantbomb.com/trine-2/61-31661/achievements/ It's got the Xbox Live Arcade rule of 12 achievements, plus (for the PS3) the 1 trophy for getting all other trophies. As fo...

Will there be Avatar items for Xbox Live Arcade version?

Hello, I had suggested the idea of having avatar rewards for completing certain tasks in the game, and giving the player a wizard hat, the Knight's sword, etc. The reply that I got said that they might be able to implement avatar items, but was unsure if they would be setup as Avatar Awards. So I wa...

At this point, is a September release still realistic?

Re: Suggestions

For the Xbox Live Arcade version, how about including Avatar Awards, such as X amount of kills as The Knight would unlock The Knight's hammer for your avatar, or getting X amount of kills as The Thief would unlock The Thief's bow and arrow, or making X amount of boxes would unlock The Wizard's box m...

Re: Linux Version, Please tell me you have/planning one

Well that's nice to hear. :) (And a reminder we should get the Ubuntu Software Center sorted, shouldn't be too much of a problem anymore...) I forgot that Trine, Shadowgrounds, and Shadowgrounds: Survivor were coming to the Ubuntu Software Center. I'm not 100% sure, but I think that everything in t...

Re: Unofficial Linux update

Yeah, I saw that the HB #3 had come out, and I thought: "Ah, that explains why they may not have put the Linux update up yet, they were busy on this". Speaking of the HB #3, I thought the games were a tad disappointing this time around. I do enjoy Crayon Physics Deluxe and And Yet It Moves...

I think maybe it needs to be resent to the folks at Humble Bundle, because it isn't on our Humble Bundle pages yet.

Re: Question about post-release patches for Trine 2

Alright. Good to hear! Another thing that I just thought of in regards to patches. For the original Trine, I'm going to assume that you would have liked to release the "Path to New Dawn" level as DLC for the PS3 version, but wouldn't fit in a patch, and Sony made you charge for it? Now I c...

Question about post-release patches for Trine 2

You've patched the original Trine approximately 9 times. My question is: With Trine 2, will you be releasing patches for the XBLA version along side the patches released for the PC version, or will you be holding off on patching the console versions and maybe holding off for bigger patches for the c...

Re: Unofficial Linux update

Will this unofficial update 4 become an "official" update and be available from our Humble Bundle pages? Since no-one has complained that it doesn't work and there are no new bug reports... Sure. Just sent it to FB. I don't want to be pushy, but it's been well over a week, and it isn't on...

Linux version based on version 1.08?

I'm just wondering why the linux version is based on 1.08. In 1.09, iZ3D, and the Portugueses and Romanian languages are supported. It's not a big deal, but I'm just curious why it's not based on the latest version.

Thanks in advance!!

Is it just me? Or does Trine look funky on Ubuntu?

I dual-boot Windows 7 and Ubuntu 11.04, and on Ubuntu, the visuals look grainy. Attached are screenshots of what I mean. Then again, now that I look at the screenshot, it looks like on Ubuntu, the visuals are more defined. But then when I play it on Ubuntu, I totally feel that the visuals are not as...
