Re: Local Multiplayer doesn't work on Windows 10
We are actually phasing out multiple keyboards and mice support (Trine 3 won't have it). ... Since Trine 3 won't have support for multiple keyboards, the only way to play local co-op will be using a gamepad for one or more players. Can you please explain why that is? I had a lot of fun playing Trin...

Re: x360ce team reachin out to the frozenbyte team :)
This is a bit off-topic, I'm sorry, but I have a question for you Squall. Where is the official or best place to download x360ce from? I recently-ish got myself a DirectInput controller and started using x360ce, I'm complete baffled. Google used to point to a Google Code page which seemed to be very...

Re: Wizard Concerns
I dislike Early Access so I have to ask: is drawing still in the game? i.e. to make a box, draw a square, to make a plank draw a line.
This was fun, albeit a bit gimmicky, in the previous games!

Other Platforms
I just happened to notice Trine 3 in the Upcoming Games list on Steam! It looks absolutely fantastic! I was wondering about non-PC platforms. As mentioned in the blog post : The Windows version will be the first one to be released – we’ll reveal more about other platforms later. So I don't want to p...

If your friend's gift list says "Redeemed" then you should be all good
I'm sure Steam has all sorts of fail-safes and whatnot. If you can't redeem it again, then you probably redeemed it already.

Re: In which version was the beta turned? (Steam)
You bought the base game (the "Trine 2" option) costing $14.99 There is now a "Collector's Edition" which "Includes the Trine 2 Digital Artbook and Soundtrack." It costs $24.99 For people like you who already bought the base Trine 2, there is an option to upgrade to the...

Re: Mutliplayer Questions
Last time I checked, two or more players using keyboard and mouse doesn't work because when either player moves his mouse, both cursors move. They are glued together. (All buttons are seperate, though, including mouse buttons) http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2215647 (Might jus...

3D talk Please have a heart for us stereoscopic fans. The future is ours.. I can't find the link right now, but I remember a dev saying they'll try to fix it some time after launch. I must say, after getting a 3DS, I vowed that my next screen/GPU will be 3D-compatible. Still got a lot of time till ...

Re: Refresh rate override not working for me
Just wanted to mention that this is a source of confusion for many people. Refresh rate (measured in Hz) is not the same as frame rate (measured in fps). The question here is about frame rate, but the OP was initially trying to change the refresh rate instead, which is why the change did not seem t...

Re: Purple Potions, numbers on inventory/level up screen
Don't know about the potions thing, but maybe that number is their skill points? It's the only number I can remember being there...
You get skill points every time you collect enough green potions to "level up". You can use them to upgrade your characters' skills.

Re: Pre-Order from other stores?
Personally I kind of need Steam. Not only are all my games in it, but all my friends are in it too. I have Steam running at all times even though I spend most of my time around the web, only because I like to chat with my friends. This is true for most Steam users I think. But I completely understan...

NeatNit I know what v-sync is very well, thank you ;) I just wanted to be precise. Ah good :) I don't mean you specifically though, a surprising amount of otherwise very knowledgeable people make this mistake, mainly because that's what the short description of it tells them. http://gyazo.com/f778f...

Re: How you know your game is beyond superb quality?
v-sync ON. I hate that people think turning v-sync on reduces preformence. I hate how developers and manufacturers make people think v-sync reduces performence. What v-sync does is it makes sure the GPU doesn't go out trying to render 10000 frames per second when the monitor can only show 60 frames...

Re: How you know your game is beyond superb quality?
Yes, definitely. Frozenbyte are artists, their games are simply beautiful... (if only their code was, too)
I'm talking about the background code that doesn't affect proper gameplay most of the time. Examples: Shadowgrounds - everything co-op. Trine - co-op, menu navigation for player 2/3. Etc.
