Re: Fan Art!

@Cheeseness, I'd love to see the "Pumpkin Carriage" in color, I love how sharp "First Place" is looking, hope the carriage turn out the same way :)

Re: Fan Art!

Well I have a clean (non-posterized version), but I've decided the posterized looks a bit sharper for the full version, the close-up isn't posterized. The pic wasn't a color piece initially, and as you can see it remained pretty much monochromatic. I'll upload the non-posterized full version as soon...

Re: I would buy a 3d tv, 2 new graphics cards just to 3d TRI

A 3dtv is well worth it, it will be worth it even more when you can play in full 1080p 3d at 60hz , as currently you are limited to 720p at 60hz or 1080p at 24hz (or half 1080p at 60hz via SBS). As for two gpus, I don't really think you need two to enjoy trine2 in all its glory, unless you want 16xS...

Re: HELP!: How to enable 3D Stereoscopic Display on Mac ?

And you don't have any settings available in the launcher?
Also I don't know if 3dvision or iz3d is available on Mac OS, but if they are they should be disabled before running any of the built-in modes.

Re: My Trine 2 Review

I can't help you with the Linux support, but you could see id iz3d supports linux, they have anaglyph support for free, so you don't need any hardware besides a pair of paper or plastic cyan-red glasses. You won't get the best experience, due to the lack of proper colors, but you'll see the game lik...

Re: My Trine 2 Review

Any review praising the game gets an A+ from me., I really like the cropping of the shots and positioning in your article, will do an in-depth read later :). Too bad you haven't experienced the game in stereoscopic 3d, it definitely brings a whole new meaning to the word replace. People should start...

Re: Trine 2 has blown me away! 3D Vision

fb_juha thank you for the detailed response, I am not that familiar with gamma and linear spaces (tried to do some reading in wiki, but still don't know that much), but from this thread - http://forum.iz3d.com/viewtopic.php?p=10985#10985, where Zerofool has asked on the scaling for iz3d, it seems th...

Re: Trine 2 has blown me away! 3D Vision

Ok, I've tested SBS and Top-Bottom at [email protected] and I can say it is much more pleasing than 720p frame-packed with 3dvision. I only wanted to ask you guys would you recommend using the internal SBS or the one from iz3d, personally I see no sense in using iz3d's, but you are probably more familiar w...

I just saw your post here - http://forum.iz3d.com/viewtopic.php?t=5760 "Please note that you need to disable 3D Vision / iZ3D drivers in order to use manual stereo modes (including HD3D)" Guess this is why I missed the new outputs after updating to 1.12, since I had 3dvision enabled when I...

Re: Trine 2 has blown me away! 3D Vision

@fb_juha Awesome news, will definitely test SBS ASAP and report back. Is it selectable in-game or should one select the stereoscopic mode from the launcher, since there was only a stereo on/off option in the game before? @ Zybex It's true that Panasonic plasmas offer the least amount of ghosting, ho...

Re: Trine 2 has blown me away! 3D Vision

Sounds like a good plan :) As for the GT30, things could be better there, it is a newer model, but be sure to get the 3rd generation glasses if the tv doesn't come bundled with them, the benefit of playing with these vs. the 1st gen (which I had) is really big. You just don't feel when they are on y...

Re: PS3 version of Trine 2 doesn't offer 3D?

clayton2, bashing 3d achieves nothing, especially if you haven't tried it and you decide to share your negativism regardless. I have played both Trine games in s-3d and stereoscopy adds immensely to the gameplay. That being said, as great as Uncharted 3 was in s-3d the sub-hd resolution really shows...

Re: Flying with mage...

I didn't even think of this possibility before I read about it in the forums. It does indeed make the game easier in single player, but is really no different than what you already do in coop for the other characters (the wizard lifts other characters). What I am interested, however, is whether a pa...

Re: Trine 2 has blown me away! 3D Vision

Great news, if there is SBS, this would finally mean 1080p instead of 720, which would really be awesome. I am probably too late in this, but is it possible that if you decide to include this output you make it over-under as well as side-by-side, since some tvs, like the Panasonic VT20 have much bet...

Hey, guys just wanted to ask on the progress of negative hud and pointer (UI) implementation. Is there a way ...

Thanks. Alchemy is just for old games that used eax but since many years, game don't use eax but open al or other sound api and alchemy is not neccessary for new games like trine 2. Yeah, you're right, Trine 1 used to have eax. I actually tried listening to the surround channels to hear something a...

I have 5.1 channel (logitech z5500) and xfi sound card but in trine 2 I have only stereo sound. I didn't find options to switch stereo to surround in game. Is it normal or is it bug? Unless you are running on windows xp it may be normal, as Vista and above don't use directsound, so if you want to e...

So, I tested the final patch (1.08) and I have to say - great work. I truly appreciate the hud settings as well as the increased depth possibilities. I do, however have one question - is it possible to set up the UI for pop-out effect by going to negative values in the options file. Currenly 0 means...

Re: Trine 2 has blown me away! 3D Vision

Does anyone know if 3D for CRTs still work? They do work, but you need drivers from iz3d and a patched Trine 2 to get it running with these drivers. Currently FrozenByte haven't patched the game, but that doesn't mean you can't buy the driver to play other games (there is also a trial). Besides the...
