Great to hear it worked! Phew. The builds are now up on Humble as well (and they now have a new system that lets us upload builds directly, which is nice as well).
For Trine 2 I assume the above is correct, so we'll probably leave it at that for now.
The updated (full) build should be up on GOG now (Humble coming later). Give it a whirl! Fingers crossed... It's a hassle because it's not a very organized process - on Steam we have everything automated, i.e. builds get updated pretty much automatically from our dev branches etc, if it's good, we r...
Hey guys, we're looking into this. So hopefully some good news about updating the GOG (and I suppose Humble) build next week. More info next week Mon-Wed, hang tight!
Right now the rights to those localizations are indeed owned by Russobit-M and Akella, respectively. We don't have the rights to distribute them on Steam. Sadly I believe all the people we know have left the companies (and I think both have been bought or merged to other companies). So it's a little...
The direct link (or here: http://www.nvidia.com/object/physx-9.12.1031-legacy-driver.html ) should work for most people. However it's possible (based on your experience in the other thread) that the site is using some cookies and such that get things confused, so it might vary from user to user (bro...
Yes, it's still coming, sadly it has just taken a lot longer than we anticipated originally. When it finally releases it will make both Trine 2 and Trine 2: Goblin Menace DRM-free. GOG release is a possibility too, we'll have to see...
Languages coming soon as well, sorry for the long delay.
Sorry for the lack of replies here! (We'll try to do a better job here in 2013, we're planning to revamp our website and everything so it would be easier on all fronts.) If you are suffering from the X/O problem, please get in touch with support by email ! That is the only way we can address the pro...
Apple hasn't yet approved the 1.16 update. Sorry! In urgent cases you can get in touch with support by email . In even more urgent cases, you can ask your Steam friends to downgrade to v1.15, although that's not really recommended if they have savegames that are complete (because it can break them)....
We've heard similar reports - it seems the game can be bought and downloaded in Australia now. There are some weird issues though, somebody complained that the Trial isn't available (which would be weird) and all these dashboard issues... anyhow this is hopefully a good sign.
Ah, sorry to hear. This is the same issue as in this thread. So it's some kind of a HID device that's causing the interference - try disabling/unplugging any gamepads and other such peripherals and see what happens...
Trine 2 PS3 (and X360) resolution is 720p, i.e. 1280x720. However, we have an adaptive resolution changer enabled in case the framerate is in danger of going below 30. In this case the resolution will be slightly adjusted. It's not usually noticeable though, but if you really want, the first gamepla...
Yes you get a Desura key from Humble Store (it was added a couple of days ago). And yes we do get the money from Desura as well, so the choice is up to you.
The Collector's Edition only has the MP3 tracks, for FLAC you should look for Ari's site at www.aritunes.com/shop/
2. Frozenbyte has sold well over 1 million copies of the FIRST TRINE ALONE (at roughly $10+ USD per copy) We have sold 1 million copies of Trine that's true, however the vast majority of the units have come from sales/discounts. This includes 400.000 copies from Humble Bundle(s) and a big chunk als...
Sorry - the key is in a small leaflet inside the DVD case, it's not in the manual. It's easy to dismiss though, it just looks like a generic leaflet with the controls etc.
My apologies - the programmers explained this to me today and indeed Trine 2 as it is has been compiled with SSE2 instructions enabled. We'll experiment a bit if the game would work simply by not using SSE2, and I'll let you know... If it doesn't work (i.e. if it would need some PhysX or other libra...
Not quite sure what you mean - does the game not run on your computer? We will most likely not be making any further optimizations to the game on the tech level (unless we do something for the expansion, in which case we can of course update the main game too). Trine 2 shouldn't demand a whole lot f...
That was miscommunication unfortunately, there's a lot of stuff going on so Esa and Jussi have been posting here and doing a good job, but unfortunately we had miscommunicated internally and they had wrong information. No patch has been submitted to Sony. We would be able to create a patch, that's n...
Yeah that's understandable. The DRM free version is coming "soon", but that's of course a bit vague. There's a few things we want to get done before that but hopefully they go ok and then we'll release it. For the ultimate DRM free experience though, Linux would be the way to go - that's c...
