Re: Tower Level - Frozenbyte fails!

I thought it was a very interesting level (Rainbow Islands Extreme :) ). I was frustrated at first, but on the other hand I appreciated the change of pace. It is something you should do more of for the "sequel" (assuming we get one), as variation is always good. The mistake you made here w...

Re: Criticism on the game

My biggest criticism so far is the respawning enemies. It's a bit annoying to have to kill the same ones over and over again so I can get some peace to "do my thing" (which usually involves a combination of building stuff with the mage and climbing with the thief). Overall, I love the game...

So impressed

I just got the game today, and wow. I mean, I had watched the trailers and seen the screenshots, but the sheer beauty of this game still managed to surprise me. I'm seriously impressed by what you've achieved with Trine. Oh, and the game plays pretty well too. Just so I don't sound like a complete g...

Re: Saved game

Yeah if you are a young gamer maybe. I remember games on the C-64 where there was no save option at all. That means when you shut of the game you have to start from Level 1 all over again. So for me its not a problem. Saving all the times kills the fun anyway a little bit since theres nothing to lo...

Re: Saved game

I think Mosh has a fair point. I guess it depends a bit on replayability and level design. Sometimes there are extra difficult points in a level, which take longer to pass. Let's say I struggle for a long time with a certain point, and when I finally complete it I get stuck later on in the same leve...

Re: Trine PC Priced at $40?

I only said that Trine was lacking in the value-for-money department, nothing more. Even if you honestly believe that it outdoes ARMA2, Street Fighter 4, The Witcher, etc. you could just agree to disagree with my opinion, no need for cheap shots. Interesting choice of examples there. First of all, ...

Re: Trine PC Priced at $40?

Indie or not, POINT is your game CONTENT(not just time length) should worth your PRICE for MASSES. For that psychology and behaviour of masses plus competition of market are necessary to study. I am marketing guy , my two cents for you for future. Is there any reason to believe the content of this ...

Re: Trine PC Priced at $40?

I would say the problem isn't that it's an indie game, but the fact that, while similar in scope to indies ("Lost Vikings with physics" pretty much sums it up), Trine still goes for what AAA-titles do. Ok, I'm stating the obvious here, but what the hey: The Lost Vikings was not an indie g...

Re: Shadowgrounds Rises on Steam

Will users from all over the world be able to download from Steam? If it seems like a stupid question, I'm asking because with other games that Meridian4 have published online, only North-American customers have been able to buy (as that's the only region where they have the publishing rights).
