The game is great, but (since there's always a but...): [SPOILERS] It's even shorter than Max Payne 2, which was sinfully short and it lacks a good climatic battle in the end. :( Protecting the mainframe was ridiculously easy, even when I was smart enough to blow a cluster grenade right next to the ...

...and give some new tricks. What about the new skills like Brute Slayer? IMHO skills and other tricks are usually (but not always!) for the worse in games like this. Simple controls, simple action, fast gameplay, that's where it should be, just like in the original. Of course, all suggestions are ...

The idea of having your friends "hop in" during the middle of the game is nice. However, because I personally felt the original Shadowgrounds was trying to be more serious than a score-keeping arcade game, I'm not sure I'm in support of it. Although, if you did include that option I would...

Mod in works: Ruthless Conduct (including a download)

Hello boys and girls, figured it would be time for me to get back to Shadowgrounds and my little mod which I sadly forgot some time ago, but now wish to finish: Ruthless Conduct. RC is aiming to be a gameplay modification which more than anything is to bring modified weapons and a character class sy...

Whee it's working! :D The overheating functionality for guns is still there, I found it by an accident myself. The heat percentage can be easily got by doing this: setUnitByIdString "player1" heatPercentage setVariable temp setActiveMaskPictureLayer 7 getVariable temp setMaskPictureSizeXTo...

And one thing more to add to my questions:
What did you mean by using "triggers" for the heating bar? Neither are "triggers" mentioned at all in the docs, so I really have no idea. :)

Okey, thanks guys, I'll play around with that. :) Edit: I'm afraid that I'll have to bother with this even more. :( But these *should* be the last ones: :D 1. How can I tell which gun player is holding? Obviously I want to have different heat values for every gun. ;) 2. Can you tell either how many ...

Yeah, kinda makes sense, I guess. :? Well, surprise surprise, I've got more questions: :P How do you draw images on the screen to create extra "progressbars"? What I'm trying to do is to draw the current gun's heat as a bar. Or, if someone could point me to where the ammo-bar is handled (assuming th...

In the level editor pages it's mentioned that we'd have to extract the data files, but at least I couldn't find a link to a tool for that. You can use winzip, winrar, 7-zip or something similiar for that. Hunh? That's an odd choice to name zip archives fbzs. :? Oh well, at least it works (btw it sh...

Does this mean that we have to re-download SG to get to use the new filesystem, or..? :? Edit: Forget about that one, seems that Steam automaticly extracted the files to the new system. Yay. But few other questions: In the level editor pages it's mentioned that we'd have to extract the data files, b...

Shadowgrounds makes my box burn

I don't know if this is new or not, but I had an almost terrifying experience with SG today (Steam version). I had been playing on hard from the beginning 'till the end of Weather Station 5 and I left the game on for a while in the loading screen of the next level. I was gone for a little longer tha...
