Re: Lauri's top list of how Trine or Frozenbyte screws players

LOL. with this post Frozenbyte has established itself as my favorite developer right now. I do hope your customers are smart enough to sense sarcasm though. I know i'm not telling you anything new, but since you are kind enough to post a lot of comments here and keep us informed, there will always b...

Re: Did you Pre-Order?

lol yeah lets start another crying flame war, first it was the lack of multiplayer, then it was the price differential, now it'll be lack of level editor (and i can tell by the quality of the levels there is no way i'd be able to make a level. this isn't little big planet (although i secretly wish i...

Re: Trine PC Priced at $40?

According to Shacknews.com, Trine will cost half the PC-price on the PS3, $20 that is: http://www.vg247.com/2009/06/29/trine-ps3-price-half-that-of-pc/ That's what I call extreme. I can understand the decision, this thread alone very much shows what I suppose has led to it, but I still feel very un...

Re: Multiplayer?

personally, maybe i've just been living under a rock, but i never expected this game to have multiplayer. granted that may be my PC gamer mindset, but i can't remember the last time a sidescroller on PC had multiplayer. so no big deal for me. but obviously, the possibility of online multiplayer (hop...

Re: Anyone with NO problems with the price?

no problem paying ALMOST full price, for a game that promises to have the same length, more creativity, better art style and charm, than most full priced games. so no. just waiting for my preorder to unlock now

Re: Frozenbyte has messed up again?

I must remind you, greyze1, that Forzenbyte is an Indie development team. I must remind you DarkJee that Frozenbyte does not like people referring to it as an Indie developer  on a side note, i think its great and really appreciated that the developers post a lot of honest comments here, espe...

Re: Trine PC Priced at $40?

come on, how could you honestly have expected anything less than $30? the game is simply beautiful, has physics engine, professional voice actors, nice drawings, soundtrack etc. the game is $30 and €30, although i'd prefer the price in $ for obvious reasons, i dont have a single problem paying €30 f...

Before: Wizard. Because wizards with pointy hats are funny. and he reminds me of simon the sorcerer. design-wise i would have preferred a simon look, rather than the current fu-man-chu look.

After: ???

Re: demo feedback/bugs

Only slowdown I noticed was when I tried to use 4xAA (running on an nVidia 280GTX). Even lowering the res didn't help. Put it at 2x and it was flawless. With saving, I'm guessing it'll be a bit like Shadowgrounds, which iirc only actually saved the game between missions/stages. as you suspected i d...

demo feedback/bugs

first of all, simply awesome, gameplay graphics are superb. two problems i've noticed however : -at certain points the game slows down dramatically and runs really choppy, after about 1-2 minutes it returns to normal speed however even if you stay at the same spot. first i thought it may be because ...
