Re: Trine 2 Online Multiplayer - about lag

Sounds like something was wrong - I'd advise trying again, and try both a Public game and a Private game. We'll have an update out in a few days too, might fix a few issue that could be related... Tried again today, with much better results. We went through the whole demo without a trace of lag. If...

Re: Trine 2 Online Multiplayer - about lag

I tried Trine 2 in multiplayer for the first time today. We were in the same room, same router, cable connection. We played the tutorial level and it was incredibly laggy. I'm not talking about a bit of warping, but about the game completely losing track of physical objects for 10 seconds. And in th...

Re: Trine on impulse.

It'll take a while longer, we just didn't have enough time to make everything ready. Sorry! Ok, thanks for answer :P I'm guessing it won't be ready for the weekend, probably ? Not that this is a big deal, but since I would like to play it this weekend, I'm guessing I will finally give up and buy on...

Re: Trine on impulse.

"Dear Frozenbyte, I regret to inform you that my F5 key passed away last evening. It had been suffering with repeating smashing for the past day, as you know and, despite the fact that it’d recently spent its 1st birthday surrounded by its key friends and family at home, its condition worsened ...

Re: Gamepad Problems

Trine uses the second analog joystick for aiming arrows, moving cursor, and defending with shield, since they are directional actions (different from the direction you're walking).
So i guess you would have to upgrade to a gamepad like the xbox one, to play it (or any with dual analog joystick).

Re: Trine on impulse.

Just so I don't go crazy refreshing the page for nothing, any chance for it to come this evening on Impulse ? :P Or tomorrow ? How is it, it's prepared and waiting only for Impulse people to release, or still work to do on the packaging from Frozenbyte side ? :P Only curiosity (and pity for my F5 ke...

Unfortunately, Trine can only be played with 2 friends. You'll have to make a tournament.

Re: Why do you treat my PC like a console??

I was respectful in the past. I gave them every opportunity to make their games with full MP Coop. Oh, you gave them the opportunity. How nice from you. Who are you, exactly ? God ? Have they failed Thee ? I doesn’t take rocket science to make Local lan Coop. As long as people like yourselves conti...

Re: Complete shutdown during gameplay

I agree, if there is such reboot, it's most likely a safety from your graphical card, because reaching too high temperature. Nowadays, it's not that much a matter of details in games, of 3D models. It's rather shaders which are really demanding. Example, my computer runs all games based on the Unrea...

Bla, bla, bla, you're a bit late.

It was discussed I don't know how many times, it's a known fact for a while, now we got it.
Poor you, an awesome single player game that you can't play online. Bu, bu, bu.

There are plenty of topics to whine about it, why creating new one now ?

No, if not bought on Steam, there is no link to it, no need to install it or anything.

Re: Trine Steam unlocks at 9am PDT (16:00 GMT)

If you are new to Trine but think about purchasing, I would ask you to consider the Steam-version, as it's the developer-friendly one  Developper-friendly one ? Publisher isn't in the loop for that one, i'm guessing ? :P How about Impulse, is it as "friendly" ? (it should be, in the...

Re: Did you Pre-Order?

impulse fails imo. Hopefully you added solid arguments, so I'm just gonna ignore your opinion. About me, I prefer to be able to open a game without starting each time Steam. Impulse has the advantage to work as a downloader and updater, which doesn't force me to keep it open whenever I want to play...

I would actually prefer to buy it on Impulse, so I'm waiting for them to put it as available :/ (if it doesn't come by the 3rd, though, i'll get it on Steam :P)

Re: Trine PC Priced at $40?

You mentionned Braid, that costs 20$ for a 2 hours gameplay with not good replay value. Wow, you are good . In other words: lol. He exaggerated probably a bit with the 2 hours, but it's for sure no more than a few hours. And for sure the replayability is unexistant. One thing I like about Trine, is...

Re: Trine PC Priced at $40?

It's incredible how the "indie" move went, recently, thanks to (and that's the kicker) the publishers and marketing people. Before, independent games were what they were, games made by a few people, without publisher, without a corporation-like environment. Now, when salespersons noticed t...

Re: Important question about co-op

This question will probably be a lot, since it's becoming something really "usual", for games which can be played in coop, to be played in coop online. I mean, I remember I was a bit disappointed when I bought Shadowgrounds Survivor, since the page was stating Coop, I was expecting online ...
