Re: Steam achievments list?

There is a list of all achievements, sorted by the amount of people who earned them, here: http://steamcommunity.com/stats/Trine/achievements/ :) Apart from the typical "Get all experience points in a level" achievements there are some pretty cool ones :D Maybe there could be some more of...

Also...I am having trouble with the controller and the aimer button. He can't use the Wizard or the thief because of the aiming...We can't figure out how to aim with the controller. Go to the controls config screen, and page over to the very last set of optinos. Should be "X axis" and &qu...

To anyone having issues with controllers

If your issue was that you can't move the cursor with a controller, try changing the x and y axes to the right stick. By default, for some reason, they seem to be set to the left stick, which doesn't seem to work. Just go to the last page in the control settings and click on each and then move the r...

Re: Trine on PS2

ok.. but does trine support a ps2 gamepad? Of that I'm not sure. I assumed the adapter converts it to a fairly generic "gaming device" but I really have no idea. If it does, I will probably buy one 'cause I ain't having much luck with my logitech one. Though someone did mention fiddling w...

Re: Why do you treat my PC like a console??

When are you guys going to get with reality Frozenbyte? Why is it that we are treated like console users with your games and Coop? I had high hopes for this game but again here we have to play Coop on the same screen and treating my PC like it’s some piece of crap console game. I put up with this c...

Ah, the omnipresent dilemma of difficulty settings.

"Do I play through the first time on medium, and find it a little under-challenging, or do I play through on hard and have nowhere else to go after I complete it?"

Re: Is Trine retail Steam?

No need to install what? The Steam client? If that is the case, is it possible to add Trine as a Steam game Quite - you won't need the steam client at all. You won't have to download anything (AFAIK) , just pop in the DVD, install and play. You can pseudo-steam it (i.e. "Add non-steam game&quo...

I woke up to a "Available: 2 July 2009 This game will unlock in approximately 8 hours" message on Steam this morning. I didn't spot that 'til I got to work and checked the boards. Now to find some way to remotely turn on my PC at home and set it downloading so it's all ready when I get ho...

Re: Why does the mage's box stop moving when spell is over?

He won't destroy it if you place an existing box in his way [i.e. not a summoned box], as they are extremely conscientious skeletons and don't like wanton destruction. They will happily smash up the creations of a feeble wizzard, however, as you point out. I should have been more clear / correct the...

Re: Some bugs *Updated 6/29/09*

The final ending cutscene is only in the full game :D Ah, simple misunderstanding. No real issues then Yes, this is annoying "feature" we didn't have time to fix, but we hoped players would not exploit it forever  It's one I've never managed to elegantly fix myself in mouse-aiming p...

Re: Some bugs *Updated 6/29/09*

The game has the intro + the tutorial videos, and then the final ending cutscene. Playing the Steam demo I encountered no final cutscene. When I finish the demo it cuts straight back to main menu. Also, if you look straight up and block with the knight, then as the mouse switches from being slightl...

Re: Why does the mage's box stop moving when spell is over?

Actually, I've found that apart from the full-on onslaughts, the mage is quite competent at box-smashing skeletons. Obviously the best way is drawing a box over and in front of approaching guys with perfect timing, but placing one and letting him climb on it before lifting it up and away works. He c...

Did I ask whether or not it was easy? Re: Wow, Trine is selling well it seems

Trine is at 5th place in weekly sales on Steam! That's pretty good. Only being beaten by Arma 2, Dawn of Discovery, L4D, and Overlord II. Does Frozenbyte get the money from the sales when the game comes out, or now? Either way I'm thinking their local pubs must be doing pretty well for themselves r...

Mandatory Trine-Worship thread

So ... why can't I find the "I love this game" thread? I just played through the demo for the 20th time, and it's awesome. Graphics look great (maybe the 1920x1200 res helped ... it didn't look quite so epic on my flaky old PC, but that's irrelevant), and there is clearly a lot of effort p...

I'm assuming you're no programmer?

FYI, LAN support is not 1% easier to code than full on TCP/IP, so no, it won't be LAN.

I agree wholeheartedly, Lauri.

I just bought the game on Steam, and completed it in about 5 minutes.

Re: Trine - Great Game but Major Control/Gameplay Problems

I must confess that I have also had serious issues getting a controller to work. The controller in question is a Logitech RumblePad 2, and the specific issue is with player 2 (the controller player) has no way of controlling his cursor. This renders the Thief's grappling hook / bow fairly redundant,...
