Re: Saved game

I'm seriously wondering what game you guys are playing. Trine's tutorial and first level, counting finding all the experience and treasure, took me all of 20 minutes with 3 other people, the very first run through. If it's taking you over an hour and a half your not doing it right. There is no need ...

Re: My thoughts and feedback on Trine, having though about it.

If they make a choice between levels (like pathways) they could really put time into some seriously challenging levels, while also having some simpler ones. A game like goemon's great adventure captured a sidescroller with multiple characters, and many level choices very well. It also included many ...

Re: when a new game for 4 players in the same pc?

Both Shadowgrounds and Shadowgrounds: Survivor are 4 players. The playstyle is far different then Trine, but just as addictive IMO.

Re: Trine online with Hamachi

LAN might be in the question but online is not. Hamachi FAKES a LAN but in no way could Trine handle an online environment with any amount of ping above 50. There is too much reliance on physics and it wouldn't work if you could see the other players walking in the air and standing on objects not in...

Re: Re-Ordering Keyboard/Mouse Inputs

Did you save after changing the settings on the notepad file? Also do not mess with any other options when you begin the game. If it doesn't save the options then YOU might not have saved them. I've never had any problems with it once I changed those.

Yeah the demo sold me too. 1 Play through, bought, and just played for hours on end. The re playability is fantastic, and the coop is a HUGE plus.

Re: my review ;)

Elaborate more. "too short. A bit overpriced" I didn't find it to short or overpriced. Comparing a game with well over 10k X the graphical detail to a nes game made of boxes and silly shapes makes no sense at all. You can see the heart and soul put into every Trine map. It takes time to do...

Re: Tower Level - Frozenbyte fails!

I don't get why everyone has problems with the last level. here everyone goes complaining the game is too easy, but get mad when they die for the first time. I played it with 3 player coop on hard (not very ahrd yet) and it was fun, but challenging. Dying can be funny when you and a few friends are ...

Set the 2 Axis to the right joystick, and your movement controls to the left joystick. The Axis Controls are invaluable to have good use of.

Re: Acord to Atlus Trine coming to XBLA too

Actually the wii is powerful enough, just that a few settings would have to be changed. Also the wii remote has PC mods that can be applied to any game, and already have been applied to trine. About PhysX, the top used version are Nvidia based drivers. Go try Mirrors Edge. ATI exclusively uses Havok...

Yeah sounds like a cool idea! If time persists, I will make an attempt to include a video as well. 3 player coop is full of hilarity and mishaps!

Re: Re-Ordering Keyboard/Mouse Inputs

I feel so useful XD To be fair it took me about an hour to figure out how to mix my issues on Shadowgrounds, which then transferred over nicely to Trine only days later ;D. Also FYI, it was a standard mouse and keyboard using the regular plugins, a USB mouse and a USB keyboard, and a wireless USB mo...

Re: Re-Ordering Keyboard/Mouse Inputs

It could be the same problem I was having and posted in the Shadowgrounds: Survivor forum. In (Steam/Steamapps/common/)Trine/Config/Options.txt, there is this: multiple_input_devices_enabled = 0 player1_mouse_ID = 1 player2_mouse_ID = 0 player3_mouse_ID = 0 player4_mouse_ID = 0 If you add "play...

Re: Trine 10/10

All I'd hope for is a mappack really, but any other cool features or extras that could be expansion worthy are just as welcome. Even if they use the same engine and make new characters and a new story with new maps, like an alternate version, I would definitely get it. I played it a solid 8 hours wi...

Great game, but some questions

As many others I was surprised to see multi-keyboard and mouse support on Shadowgrounds:Survivor. After plugging in a USB keyboard and mouse, a regular keyboard and mouse, and a wireless adaptor to host yet another keyboard and mouse, I was excited to see it in action. It seemed to easy just checkin...

Trine 10/10

I must say I was surprised to hear you guys had released a new game. Right away I got the demo, and after beating it with 3 players via joypads, it was an instant sale to me. You've really outdone yourself with this title guys! It's so unique and different then what we see nowadays. No frame drops, ...
