Trine 3 in Stereo 3D

It's AWESOME! Simply love the immersion when playing in stereoscopic 3D. I use nVidia 3DTV Play. Also, I absolutely love the 3D perspective gameplay. Gives the game a very fresh look. It definitely adds more puzzle elements to the game. Nicely done! Btw, I've been playing online and local co-op with...

Cool! I'm definitely in. Thanks.

Btw, don't say EA. That's a different word, and not necessarily a good one. :)

Re: Early Access

I've never done Steam Early Access before. I'll do it for Trine 3. :D

The question is: when the game is released, do I have to buy the full game again? Or does Early Access get the full game once it is released?

Re: Early Access

I'm definitely IN! I suggested 3D gameplay a long time ago for Trine 3. I simply love the idea of open-world exploration in the gorgeous Trine universe. Imaging that in stereoscopic 3D. I'm so happy that Frozenbyte is moving in that direction. (The side scrolling gameplay was getting stale for me) F...

I like what I saw with the third-person 3D view. I've always thought that it would be awesome to explore Trine world in 3D.

Hey, if you ever need funding for Trine 3, consider crowd-funding like Kickstarter. I'll throw in my support if I can get a DRM-free version (ala Double Fine Adventure). :D

Re: But I don't want to rent Trine II

I don't get it! I remember when Trine 1 had a retail box version. I held off due to DRM and eventually bought it when a patch was released (1.08 I think) to remove the DRM. I bought the Trine 2 Collection's Edition from Frozenbyte with the understanding of getting a DRM-free digital version later. L...

Re: Rosabel's fate and motives

Nice analysis. I agree with most of the analysis except the part where Rosabel wanted to use the Trine to undo the spell cast on Isabel. I recall her mentioning using the Trine to restore the kingdom, but no mention of Isabel. And the fact that she unleashed the dragon to try to take the Trine force...

Re: some suggestions for Trine 3

While we're day-dreaming... let's think "outside the box" a little here. One can argue that much of Trine's success is attributed to the visuals. Let's take it a step further. Have you ever wondered how incredible it would be to explore the world of Trine in a full 3D environment? Forget a...

Re: Is the story connected?(trine 1)

I've played Trine 1 and am more than half-way through Trine 2. As mentioned, there's a reference to Trine 1 as how the three heroes have met. And there are the "reunion" scenes when the three heroes are brought together by the Trine. That's pretty much the connection between the two games....

BUG: No keyboard input (solved)

So I talked one of my gaming buddy into buying Trine 2 from the Humble store. We've been playing online multiplayer for the last couple of days without issue. Today, I decided to go solo and found out that once I entered the game, at the beginning scene where the Trine flies in from far away, my key...

Re: Trine 2 has blown me away! 3D Vision

Count me in as one who's fortunate enough to enjoy Trine 2 in its glorious stereo-3D. I'm playing on a 58" 3DTV using nVidia 3DTV Play. :D One thing I noticed, though, is that I couldn't change the convergence in 3DTV Play. I was able to do this with the original Trine game. Not sure if this is...

Re: If you buy Trine 2 on Steam, do you get DRM free later

Oh yeah! I took the plunge and bought from Humble Store with faith that I'll get a DRM-version later. :D

Now, a couple of questions:

- I got a Steam key to activate the game. Cool
- I bought the Collector's Edition. Where do I download the digital artbook and sound track?

Re: $$$

Call me a fanatic! :D

I bought 3 licenses of the original Trine... ALL FOR MYSELF: Steam (never touched it), Retail box, PS3!

Then I went out and bought the OST to go as well.

I don't see how Trine 2 would be any different

Is there plan for retail box of Trine 2? If so, would it be DRM-free? Would love to add it to my collection.

I'm interested in the Collection's Edition. What's in the digital art book and soundtrack? Is the sound track the same as the special edition on Ari's website?

I have the original Trine OST and absolutely love it. :D

Wow! Just got back home from business to find out that the game launched! :D Now, count me in as one who will hold out for a DRM-free mutliplayer version. Before you say it can't be done, just take a look at Dungeon Defenders. They have a DRM-free version (non Steam) that supports multiplayer online...
