Re: Suggestions

@Sir-Drago - if the trailer and website are any indication, it looks like we may be getting our wish for more monsters (or at least new environs... yay for big bouncy mushrooms!)

Re: Suggestions

I think we all agree that some sort of time trial mode needs to be added. It's simply not as fun posting our level times on the forums, would be way more competitive to have it built into the game :) Time trials are a core platformer element, after all! P.S. LEVEL EDITOR / Internet Multiplayer :twis...

Gamers Nexus Contest - Win Trine + More

Just a quick shout. Thanks to our many good friends at the smaller and indie development companies we are hosting a large contest with the chance to win 14 games. Here's the line-up (links go to our review + screenshots): Trine (of course!) Mount & Blade: Warband (x5 copies available) Zombie Dri...

Re: new or old heroes?

As long as the mother of these wizardlings is capable of tracking down lost pants :) Of course, that's a magic in its own right!

Who says you can't? Besides, he's a wizard (of sorts), he can probably block the house in with boxes and bridges ;)

Re: Please have a qualified proof reader verify the dialog

This is pretty silly. The game was fine, and the examples above are not anywhere near as bad as several dozen games I have written reviews for in the past. Talking about allegories serves no purpose here - the game (at least for me) read like a story book. It's a tale told to us (the listeners/playe...

Re: Communication in online Co-Op

I normally never use in-game voice chat, I kind of opt for a 3rd party VoIP hoster, but on occasion it can be useful. If there is a matchmaking (non-server based) option, then voice chat can be good. If it's meant to be played just with people you have on your friends list, well they probably alread...

Re: new or old heroes?

I think Trine had some pretty amazing character interaction, but here's my question: Will the Wizard have his pants this time? Or will they somehow escape once again  Anyway, adding more wheels to the game may off-balance it a little bit, it's easy to forget about some characters and only use o...

Re: Tried Demo, Disappointed

The left and right thumbsticks can be modified both with drivers (non-trine related, i.e., Logitech's SetPoint, or Microsoft's 360 ones), or with the in-game options, as per the first reply. I hope you try it again.

Re: Trine reviews (Updated 27th July)

GN is happy to state that Trine has received one of our highest reviews on the site, and is in the 90s! (100 point scale) Check out the review here: http://gamersnexus.net/gamerev/25-pcg/169-trine Note: The game did not lose points (maybe 1 or 2) from the lack of multiplayer support. We will go back...
