Friendly fire

I'd like to enable friendly fire. I'd add more fun (read: rage) to co-op as players would need to really watch their actions instead of mashing buttons.

Re: Some Suggestions after playing through a few times

1) Thanks for pointing this out. I wanted to mention the very same issue. I believe the screen is currently limited by the height of the level artwork. The view cannot extend further than the ceiling. However, I'd be happy if the view was letterboxed. Just add black borders to top and bottom to cut ...

Re: Thoughts after 3rd try

@One character steam achievement: "If anyone could manage to use one character only playing solo please let me know which level you did it" I just made it in Forlorn Wilderness using only the Knight. Combat is easy. The difficult parts (I don't think I mention them in the right order) invo...

Re: Running into an issue with Steam

Trine 2 itself (not the launcher) makes sure you are logged in with a valid Steam account. If Steam is not running, it is automatically launched. This is part of the Steam DRM mechanism and is not to be changed. The DRM-free version of Trine 2 presumably won't do this.

Re: Trine 2 + Wacom Tablet (Absolute Positioned Cursor)

Unfortunately I still haven't seen a documentation on these, but the "PointerBallistics" in the options.txt look promising. Ever tried setOption(inputModule, "MousePointerBallisticsEnabled", false) setOption(inputModule, "UseOSPointerBallistics", true) or something simi...

Re: Trine 2: Multiple Mice

Solved it myself. After I wrote about Trine 1, I fired it up again and read it's logs. It turned out there was a parasite device in my sytem called "PointerClassLegacy0" Trine enumerated as mouse 0. In Trine 1 that mouse was assigned to player 4 so I never had any problems with it. This vi...

Trine 2: Multiple Mice

Hi I am experiencing problems trying to play Trine 2 with three sets of mouse and keyboard. The controls work fine for the first two players. However the game somehow forgets about the third mouse. When disabling multiple mice, the game informs me that "Player 2 has disconnected.", but no ...

Re: Multiple Keyboards/Mice

think I will just call some friends, so they bring theyer keyboards and we will do little trine party=) I can recommend that. However watch out for "gamer" keyboards or anything else that has extra keys. As said above, some of them are represented as independent mice or keyboards and can ...

Re: Suggestions

On the teaser picure it says local multiplayer is still included. I hope you don't drop the support for multiple keyboards and mice, although there have been many nasty problems. I really enjoy playing the game with my friends on my full HD projector. No console or whatsoever at this time can beat t...
