Re: Shadowgrounds/Survivor do not lauch in Ubuntu 12.04

Ok, i found the problem. I installed the (shadowgroundsUpdate1.run) globally in /usr/local/games/. After fixing the libraries I had to start the game once as superuser and adjust the settings. Now it runs fine. To sum up the commands I used to fix library issues (worked for Shadowgrounds and Survivo...

Re: When is Trine 2 for Linux comming

* mouse grabbing support (ideally grab it if in game, ungrab if in menu). ctrl-g is a commonly used shortcut for that in linux-games (actually, I think trine1 supports that). I think that would be done with the SDL_SetWindowGrab() function. (It is possible to build a custom libsdl 1.3 with this har...

Re: When is Trine 2 for Linux comming

Thanks for the great port, I'm really enjoying it :-) Works pretty well on debian squeeze with a current fglrx Two things that could be improved (apart from stuff that was already mentioned like broken fullscreen and multiplayer with clients for other platforms): * mouse grabbing support (ideally gr...

Re: Regarding Trine beta on Steam and following Linux versio

Why do you want to wait until the Linux version with Desura? You could publish the Windows version there, so that we can buy it, play it on Windows and download the Linux version when you release it… that would be perfect.

Feedback on the save system

The savegame thing isn't just about difficulty. Not a lot of folks like to sit in front of their computer for long stretches of time, or if they do, they might not like to spend that long time playing the same game. At least for me it hasn't been the difficulty level that's made me restart missions...

Re: Trine 2 with steam

2. Backup your game (CD, DVD, Blu-ray, Tape, External Harddrive and network drive) What do you mean by "backup"? Probably just that you can store the downloaded files somewhere. When you want to play them on another computer you will probably still have to reinstall Steam and reactivate t...

Re: Trine 2 with steam

I used to have my games on CDs and paper books for manuals. "Used to," being the key word. Over the give or take 20 years I've been dealing with this stuff, I've out-and-out lost most of my CDs, either lost to damage or plain old lost, as in I don't know where they are. I've lost most of ...

Re: Trine .run setup + Debian

Same issue here. Trying to run the 32-bit version on 32-bit Ubuntu. $ ./Trine-1.32.run ./Trine-1.32.run: /usr/lib/libstdc++.so.6: version `GLIBCXX_3.4.14' not found (required by ./Trine-1.32.run) What's this " Trine.32.run " installer that was mentioned by others? My download only included...

Shadowgrounds "hang" in mission 2 boss battle

So I'm probably just going to skip this mission and start from mission 3, but twice now I played through to the point where the boss battle starts, and then the game just stops. Note: the game is NOT crashed, but the "cut scene" is just hung at the point where the boss is supposed to erupt...
