Finnish release is 4.11. or 7-9.11. It depends on how fast the box printing and CD manufacturing goes... I'll give the official date as soon as I get it myself (we're gonna make a press release etc).

(Btw, I deleted the other thread in General Chat.)

Age rating is 15+ in Finland, and 16+ in other countries.

Probably not... We'll see if it would be useful but at the moment we don't plan to do so.

While the development team understands all the criticism about not including online/LAN co-op, I'd also like to remind you that just a few months ago it was not sure if Shadowgrounds would have ANY kind of co-op. It was never promised. Obviously it's up to you to decide whether to buy the game or no...

does it effekt the story if you play coop or not? No. The story and cutscenes will play out exactly like in singleplayer. Regarding online co-op... Honestly, you probably shouldn't expect it, since we really can't promise it. It depends on our future projects and many other things (like how Shadowg...

Few questions. 1) Is that flashlight going to be forever on, or will it go out of power? (Like batteries etc.) 2) How do you upgrade your weapons? Lvl up, or finding items or what? 3) When you add the last weapons to "weapons & upgrades" list? 4) When the demo comes out? I want it now ...

Co-op confirmation and discussion

Hi guys, The secret is out; Shadowgrounds will have a co-op mode. 2-4 players can play co-op on the same computer. Let's keep all co-op discussion in this thread, shall we? :) The basic idea is to have one player on kb+mouse, and others playing with joypads. Even if you lose a bit of accuracy with j...

Also I would like to ask how many difficulty options there are? Playng co-op with 2-4 players there should be some extra difficulty option. There are three difficulty levels. Co-op isn't automatically easier than singleplayer, though, and the Hard mode is going to be... hard. 8) Regarding multiple ...

But my real concern is more with controls. If you use wasd+mouse in single player, then how do/would you use it in coop? And strafe is another thing I am concerned about. If you use WASD with A+D for turning and mouse for camera, then how do you strafe? Also considering coop. Basically you will be ...

Thanks for the preorder! The release date probably isn't 28.10, but it's close enough... :) I'll make a different thread about co-op... Edit: Misacorp, I meant that it's a bit later. The release is in early November (not sure what day), so just hang on for a week more. It's not long anyway. :D

2-4 player co-op on the same computer is included. This will be made official soon but I guess there's no point in keeping it a secret anymore on the boads. 8)

Nope. We'll take a vacation and think about the demo after that. It could be anywhere between November and December.

Edit: Ah, game release... November. Will post more details as soon as I know 100%.

Will this bundle also be available im germany? The Soundtrack sounds really nice. The bundle will be available through this website... Ultimately everything depends on our publishers, but I'm sure there will be some way that German players can get a hold of the soundtrack and other possible extras....

Will the Controls be customizable? Of course. :) Is there gonna be a limited Version with a little extra stuff? :P Well, we'd love to do it... but at this point I can't promise it. We will make a bundle of the game + soundtrack (and perhaps a poster or so) but other than that we'll just have to wai...

Yup, it's been quiet for a while. But worry not, we've working hard on the game, and it's quite finished now. Our promotional efforts are a bit lacking because we've had our hands full with the actual game (all kinds of stuff, testing etc). There's a long-due announcement about a certain feature tha...

Anyway, I see your point and I basically agree. I'll see if there's something I can do about it the next time we add some new screenshots.

Yeah... well, my lips are sealed about the co-op for a while... but 8) We'll start promoting the game a bit more in September. We're a small team so we don't have many resources, so we are putting all the effort into finishing the game first and then trying to get as much publicity as we can. Thanks...

What are the system requirements? What is the cpu/graphics hardware that you personally play the game with? and finally...do you guys need to hire an animator? :) The sys reqs are still not finalized... but these should be close: Minimum specs: Windows XP/2000 1.3 GHz CPU 384 MB RAM GeForce 4 Ti / ...

Are you using real actors for the voice overs or have you just picked someone from the streets to do them? ;)

I'm curious; how dominant is the story? Is it a backstory sort of thing to give a drive to the gameplay, or is it a bit more developed (with cutscenes, characters and twists and such)? It's definitely more developed. Cutscenes and voice overs drive it forward, there's a few twists (not to mention v...
