Yup, we're well aware how much you guys want it... and we want it ourselves, too! It'll be at least a few weeks before we know for sure, though.

That's a very large topic to discuss here... Expect to see it in a dev diary sometime. In one sentence, the idea came from the realization that our strategy game was much more fun to play with the player directly controlling one of his guys and we just ran with the idea until it evolved to the curre...

Heh, great topic. We'd love to do an expansion pack or Shadowgrounds 2. It really depends on how the game sells, and how publishers react to it. It might be that we will do a "small" project after Shadowgrounds, and then come back to the Shadowgrounds franchise if there's enough demand. What that sm...

Shadowgrounds has a clear evolution path (starting about 2-3 years ago), and it's mostly evolved slowly from our own ideas etc. However, Abuse, Alien Breed and especially Crusader are games that have influenced the team members in their early years. All of us were and still are big gamers, so we hav...

All I can say right now is that we have made some steps forward towards co-op. But it's still not guaranteed, because we have tons of stuff to do, and we want to make the singleplayer experience great before we add co-op fully. We know it's a feature you guys would love, so we will do our best to ma...

The AI is under tweaking at the moment. They won't be the most intelligent monsters ever (well hey they're bloodthirsty monsters, they don't have time to think much :P ) but should give you a good challenge. We have a new version of that big monster (called Brute) that's more sleek and moves more. I...

Yes, GF4 Ti 4200 is definitely going to run the game. We have quite a few of those here in the office, so no worries. Obviously you won't get all the bells and whistles but it should still play & look great.

On the Radeon side, 9200 should _run_ the game, but we'd recommend 9500 or better.

I'd say twice a month or so. We will be updating the site much more often now as well. Next update is probably next week, and if it's big enough, we'll send a newsletter.

Hehe. 8) It's actually part of the old GUI, which we still use for camera angles etc. That arrow won't be in the final game (or at least officially).

I'm quite excited myself, too. 8) Edit: Late next week that is... Thursday would be my guess. Better buckle your seatbelts now and get ready for...

Wish I had some time to actually play games... 8) Seriously though, Nintendo DS and PSP are taking most of my gaming time now. They're quite perfect for train trips (to work). Ridge Racers has bored me now (awesome but gets boring), so I'll be spending time with Spider-Man 2, Wipeout Pure and Ape Es...

Anyway, I'm not waiting for that many games, because time flies so fast these days... I guess I'm most interested in the next Command & Conquer PC game (in the original universe, please!).

Interview at GGMania

Just wanted to let you guys know that Gameguru Mania has posted a Preyground interview with yours truly. http://www.ggmania.com/full.php3?show=5714 There'll probably be a few more in the coming weeks but after that we'll keep a low profile for a while, and focus on making the game even better (lots ...

Frozenbyte has a couple of guys who have been involved in the demo scene. Our animator has won a couple of Assembly prizes, and our music guy has won the Assembly fast music compo twice in a row, I think. I'll let the guys decide if they want to get some extra fame by revealing their identities. 8) ...

1. Preyground uses DirectX. 2. No skills as such but our weapon upgrade system gets close... Can't reveal more yet, sorry. 6. Well, the hero is a mechanic... 8) 7. Normal action game length, 10-20 hours. We don't recycle mission locations, so each mission takes place on a very different location. I'...
