Being the one to blame (mostly), I must say I completely disagree. What you suggest here would mean no replay value and no thinking needed from the developers (lets say achievement per level and one bigger for completing the whole game, that wouldn't require much from a developer). The earlier parts of Trine 2 are indeed as easy as Trine 1, but the latter levels should be significantly harder. :wink:

You can use the lanterns to attract fireflies which the plant will eat, and while plant is eating the fireflies you can quickly pass it (be sure to build up steps on the opposite side before running past, if you are in the location I guess you are :))

We're experimenting on adding more achievements to the PC version. Consoles have their own limits unfortunately, so it's not allowed on them.

There's multiple factors involved in this, one is how Trine 2 sells on XBLA and others are matters which are not directly in our control. But we'll first see how Trine 2 performs :)

They should improve the games that they already has. Trine 2 1 - A real gameover and a real hardcore story mode. 2 - Increase multiplayer options. (I do realize we have slipped a multitude of promised release times, but we will only release games which we feel will stand out, and sometimes it takes a bit of extra polish)

We're glad to read ideas here on the forums, so there's no harm done posting them.

However it's very likely we follow our own ideas especially with new IP's. With our existing series we are more open to listen fan feedback, as seen with Trine 1 and Trine 2. 8)

The editor is again something that we will explore, but we won't release it unless we can commit ourselves to extensive support which it will need even to get it running properly. So, absolutely no promises made, let's just wait and see what happens :D

Physical copy without DRM is not possible unfortunately.

And to add to this - we had a fair share of trouble with Trine 1 channels, and since this we decided that all Windows-channels, online or retail, MUST use Steamworks, no exceptions accepted.

On Mac side Mac App Store has it's own multiplayer system and updates.

Indeed the game lacks a true "hardcore" mode, which we hopefully can fix with a (distant) future update.

Also boss not resetting is due to lack of development time and is not even near the best solution. Sorry for that! :cry:
