Re: Acord to Atlus Trine coming to XBLA too

when i heard this i also heard or read to be more correct that the xbl version would support 3 player co-op ? sure you could say but its coming out later and we had to put in something extra for the wait but pc and ps3 owners shouldn't suffer with getting less content just because there was no publ...

Re: PC demo

Neither we were aware there is a demo ..

But, after the initial hassle, I'm sure everything gets sorted and I'm happy part of the wait is over. However, what saddens me that we could not have PSN demo out the same time. Hopefully the PSN release is a bit ahead of PC :D

Re: demo feedback/bugs

These problems might be related to AA, even it shouldn't cause anything like this. Disabling AA should help, but of course we have to address all issues with proper fixes also.

Thanks for the feedbacks and bug reports!

Re: Trine demo crashing

I can make it through the Thief intro level just fine, but when I try to levitate objects with the Wizard, the game will crash to desktop. Is it because I'm using an ATI card, which does not support PhysX? My suggestion would also be checking if updating PhysX helps. Tell us if it doesn't and we'll...

This is definitely a possibility, as both SG and SGS are also coming on Linux "shortly" :D

Re: PC release date: 10th of July

While it's not in our hands, it's partially us to blame if this happens, as Sony has very strict rules how the game is supposed to work. What do you mean? That sounds for me that you dont have a free hand in creating a game because Sony makes rules how a game is suppose to work?! That's absolutely ...

Re: PC release date: 10th of July

I'm sorry for giving misleading information, the PSN release dates have been my best understanding, which due to many reasons have now "slipped" to early July. However, I can say everyone at Frozenbyte are also very disappointed if the PSN release passes the 9th day. While it's not in our ...

PC release date: 10th of July

Hello all! Finally I have some information to share with you! The PC release date will be 10th of July at latest! (this means there is a very small change of having it earlier, but I would rather think it's the 10th). For PSN, the release is "as soon as possible", I would say the 10th is a...

Re: Questions for the Developers

If it is 14.99, or 19.99, which I think would be too much and probably hurt sales, they really need to get the message out that it's a full game. I think I read 8-10 hours, so it's fair to charge more, but people need to know it isn't some tiny 3 hour game. While price is set by our publisher and S...

Re: Release Date.... delayed?

We are still waiting for last technical approval from Sony, which can happen this week or next week, given that they don't find any bugs. After the approval I've understood it's only about our publisher after that, and I'm sure they won't slow things down after that. But again, I have no idea how fa...

Re: Release Date.... delayed?

Wow only 400 MB? I was expecting it to be around 1 GB. I was myself surprised too, but our programmers have packed everything extremely well, and our artists have optimized everything to look best at HD resolution. It's still a lot of content compared to normal PSN titles, which is also shown in th...

PSN version is a bit short of 400 MB, PC installer is a bit over 650 MB (Since PC version comes with various drivers and such).

Re: Release Date.... delayed?

Meh. Seriously FB team, contact Nobilis and tell them to start up that hyping PR spam which is on their responsibility. It's about time to start hyping the game and noting people. There's for real only like 1-2 weeks till the first release of the game to PS3 and after one more week a PC release and...

Re: Release Date.... delayed?

Sony is working hard with the title, so I'm sure it will come out "soon" enough :) But you all are correct that there should be more hype about Trine, as we need the sales to be able to continue doing great games. Even mentioning the game to some friends helps a lot, so feel free to inform...

Re: Who was your first favorite character, and who eventually?

Example answer:

Favorite character before I played the game: Wizard

Favorite character after playing the game: (This will be answered after the game is out by editing the same post)

Free comments: I think the pointy hat will make the best character, but we'll see after I have played the game!

Who was your first favorite character, and who eventually?

Out of curiosity but also to learn for our future products, I will be opening a series (a lot that is :D ) of questions here regarding favorite this, favorite that and so on about Trine. Most of the questions will be posted after Trine is out, but this one suits this waiting of release well. So, the...

Re: Release Date.... delayed?

One question, Sony can delay it as long as they can to suit their own release list or any other corporate decision(like to fill july mid-end void), Do you guys have any SAY in this matter(like deadline) or you guys left it totally in the hands of publishers and Sony(to release it on their own whim)...

Re: Release Date.... delayed?

But on PC why don't you release it on Steam right now? :O Do they have to make tests too? Or the PC version isn't ready, or what? PC version timing should be what is shown in the most online shops. Steam pre-order should open soon also, and the game is available the second when the other PC version...

Re: Release Date.... delayed?

Up to this point I had actually not heard of your company. I happened upon a trailer of Trine in Gamespot's E3 awards and instantly recognized it's awesomeness. Re: Questions for the Developers

Hrm. I've never heard of multiplayer on 1 PC outside of turn based strategy games. Not so sure I like that. Wouldn't it be worth the time to add in LAN/online co op before release? Trine multiplayer features have been created with PS3 in mind. While online co-op would be more than perfect for conso...

Re: Questions for the Developers

First of all I discovered this game through E3 and it looks incredible. I've read through this thread and forums and I could not find a definitive answer. What kind of PC co-op can we expect? Online only or over LAN? At the launch we are supporting only local co-op (so you'll need a game pad or two...
