Re: Questions for the Developers

Hiya, really impressed with the video and previews for this game. I'm not sure if i'll be able to play it though. It says on your website you'll be releasing it on PC. Does that mean Linux and Macs as well, or only Windows Vista (or XP also? not sure if the two are compatible). If you could clarify...

Re: UK Release?

Just wanted to know if this game is being released on the UK Store, as most games are only released on the American or Japanese stores. For PC version our publisher has a retail distributor in UK, and also all PC online channels work in UK. For PS3 version, I can't imagine a reason why Trine wouldn...

Re: Questions about Trine on the PC

Would it be possible to play the game in co-op using multiple wiimotes (with nunchucks probably) on a PC? Either through some extra work from the development team or a possibility for other programmers to add this functionality to the game (using scripting or something like that) ? This sure is one...

Re: Questions for the Developers

Are you planing to release it before july? And what will be length of gameplay, i.e if you guys are concentrating on short stages with multiple solutions or long stages? The release has been planned to be end of June, and if that for any reason (not ours, heh  ) fails, we are talking only abo...

So my question is, I want it on PC, when we will be able to preorder it? whatever is the cost, I'll buy it!

I'm pretty sure some of PC distribution channels will have a pre-order possibility, but that will be more close to launch. So, keep on eye at Trine website! :)

Re: Questions about Trine on the PC

Soooo.. there are a few questions i would like to ask. ^^' Glad to hear you like the game! Here's a few answers .. 1. PC multiplayer will be at first only on same computer. You can use keyboard+mouse and game pads (possible also multiple keyboards and mice, but we have to look into that). A good ga...

We are definately aiming to have Trine on Steam, and if there's no surprises I'd say it will be there when the PC launch comes 8)

We have not yet decided shall we release the level editor with the PC version. Most likely, if it ever happens, the tools will be released after initial launch.

Re: Multiplayer?

same-system coop is something that's easily done on PS3 (3 controllers)... but how about the PC(most PC-users don't have controllers...)? If there is no full-online support (e.g. no trine-servers and such) will there be LAN-possibilities for PC-players? Technically LAN support would be very close t...

Re: Multiplayer?

Very sad to hear that the game won't have online co-op on release, or for that matter ever if you decide in that direction. We understand this and would also love to have online co-op, but that's something technology-wise what would cost and delay the game way too much if aimed for release date. Fo...

Re: Multiplayer?

Does the game have multiplayer/lan/internet/hotseat/etc for the PC/PS3? Both PS3 and PC versions will have up to three player co-op. The co-op is built in a manner that your friends can join and leave the game freely, so you can even turn the single-player experience middle of a level to co-op fun....

- Very interested in this game, and so is my friend; she wants to know if those are the only character models (ie. I think she means are there any female characters?) - My question, will the game release more classes? Or is it simply the Wizard/Warrior/Rogue? As someone noticed already, the Thief c...

Re: Achievements for PC?

Hi all! I've recently read PSN will have trophies.... but, what about us, PC gamers? We will have achievements? It would be great if Trine uses STEAMWORKS for STEAM Community integration, achievements, DLC and stats. I hope developers consider this. Thanks. :) Trine is planned for Steam release als...

Re: Questions for the Developers

oh ok, so I'm assuming that in co-op you would share the 3 characters, meaning I could play as the wizard and my buddy could be a warrior, but we both couldn't play the same guy. That's right. But you and your buddy can still freely change between the characters :) "Same system co-op." So...

Re: Questions for the Developers

I know you talked about Co-op, will this be offline or online co-op or both? We will most likely have only same system co-op at the launch. However, we will build that co-op in a very user-frienfly manner, allowing for example live joining and leaving (changing single player to co-op and vice versa...

1. If there are puzzles(well, from what I saw from the trailer, there are), are there then some hard ones that actually makes you think? I really love hard puzzles, but sometimes it's good to have easier ones too. So, will there be hard and easy puzzles? There are a wide range of puzzles, and when ...
