Hehe, soooooo....... There is no chance to fix the teleporter walk-around huh? That's a shame, but only to me. Having played over 165 computer games from start to finish I guess I've gotten hung up on my search for "The Perfect Game." Anyway, I downloaded the latest patch and have had no new problem...

A few bugs...

I found a mission objective glitch on the level where you first encounter the invisible snake creatures. If you don't go to your first objective, and instead go exploring you will eventually reach the dinning hall with the invisible snake creature cutscene. The trouble is, if you go back and finish ...

More!!!!

Okay here's the deal: I played Shadowgrounds and absolutely loved it. I loved the old-school gameplay, elements of Doom, and superb shadow effects on my three year old computer. However, I've followed other games made by upstart companies and have been hugely dissappointed (game turned out horrible,...

Found it! I bought my copy today at an Ebgames in Western Canada for $34.99 but since I had some trade-ins it only cost me $22! I like the slick box art and everything else about this wonderful title.

Official Unofficial Review

Hello everyone. This is my carefully considered review as a life long computer gamer of Shadowgrounds. Before I begin, you should know a little about how I review a game: I have played from start to finish over 161 computer games which range from Kings Quest all the way to Quake4. In an effort to re...

Just thinking....

You have a very nicely designed website. It looks good and is very stylish and functional. Great use of screenshots and rollovers. Anyway, looking forward to the North American release.

I personally think the lack of a savegame feature keeps you in the action, rather than having to wait for loading screens or lag while quicksaving. Some might argue that this makes the game too easy, but considering the length of the game it doesn't matter all that much.

Weapon Upgrades

Are the upgrade parts that are dropped by enemies randomly generated? What I mean to say is, despite the chosen difficulty level, is it always possible to max out each of your possible weapon upgrades?

Gaming Goodness!

From start to finish the game is a nice looking, nice shooting, and nicely done addition to any action fans collection. In particular, the game's ending is one of the very best I have ever seen in a game, and bare in mind that this is coming from a guy who spends an average of five hours a day playi...

Did you know that ALL of the weapons available in the full version of Shadowgrounds are actually available in the English demo?

While in-game press F8,
Then type: externInclude developer:givestuff,
Press the Enter key,
Enjoy! :D

Questions for the admin

A few quick questions for you: 1. Did you make the game engine up from scratch? If yes, will you use it in future games? 2. The demo was great.... But.... I experienced the most framerate drops or so called "sluggish performance" when cutscenes were playing. At first I thought this might be my compu...

Okay, I'll comment: I think the reason why the majority of action games today are first-person is that todays generation of game players don't want to think when playing. I mean to say, when an average person sits down to play an action title, they are expecting to simply sit down, stare at the scre...

About half my life I have spent playing computer games, and when playing the English Shadowgrounds demo the following things stood out: 1.
