Ok, maybe my claim that "cheating ruins all the fun" was not quite right... My point/reason for saying that was more or less the fact that if I had told all the possible ways to cheat here, then a lot of players, even those who have not yet played the game through and have not even thought about che...

Yes, even though FX5200 is a very very slow card (I know this 'cos I have one myself) ;) - it's still way better than GF4MX, because GF4MX is just one plain sucky card, which has no proper shader support. ;) GF4MX is an ok card for old generation DX8 games, but you just can't make a modern game with...

Sure there are some cheats... But cheating would just take out all the challenge and ruin all the fun for you. So, I recommend that you try to play the game without cheating. (If you didn't get all the upgrades, you can always play again (maybe even with a harder difficulty setting?) and select some...

The use of shotgun/rifle should have made no difference... There's probably something else causing that bug. It will surely be looked into as soon as possible.

That profile switch mixing the old/new save upgrades sounds odd... Gotta look into that too. :)

Those low fps problems will probably be looked more into later on, but for now, I can just recommend the following: If you have GeForce4 Ti (possibly with 64 Megs memory?), your performance will probably be limited by a couple of things... First, you should disable the "distortion effects" from the ...

NecroViolator, did you possibly use flamethrower to kill those monsters that came thru the doors? (as that might have something to do with it)

I'm trying to replace the bug but have not succeeded so far...

This probably did not happen due to Shadowgrounds itself, but rather due to the DirectX drivers that come with Shadowgrounds (or alternatively, due to the WMV codecs). In either case, it's hard to say why exactly those drivers/codecs were not compatible with your operating system - or more precisely...

Ok, gotta try to find out what the problem with the SLI is... Hopefully it can be fixed in some future game patch or display drivers. Meanwhile, I hope you can bear playing the game with the SLI deactivated.

Arparso already answered to a lot of questions, so I'll just fill up the missing points and details.. 1. Yes, the german version has german speech/text. The finnish version is in english. 3. At least for now, the game is available on PC only. 7. The game does not "officially" support widescreen in t...

Protec, you should be able to get higher framerates with that hardware. (I just replied to your other post at the technical support forum).

Hmm... Sounds odd. Does the game run at a very constant 15 fps? If so, have you tried to turn off the vertical sync? (it can be found right below the resolution selection in the launcher). Framerates that are constantly around some value, the multiple of which 60 is, (15 and 30), are usually somehow...

But Frozenbyte people, I don't think the change of Preyground's name was wise. This confuses lots of people (since the name Preyground is now familiar to lots of people through several articles in the Internet and in some magazines). And to me it means that you guys didn't trust your own product. W...

Well, "really high resolution" depends on the point of view, so I can't really say whether the textures will be "really" high. The textures will of course be slightly higher in resolution than those used by most of the users. I think the textures (with highest detail level settings) will be quite su...

The following is totally unofficial estimation of system requirements: GF4Ti series / GF FX5200 will be pretty much be the minimum Nvidia GPU. The game runs pretty well even on GF4Ti, but as GF4 isn't really the latest generation of gfx cards (and does not support the latest pixel shaders), you won'...

Ok, since that little green arrow seems to cause so much interest, I will tell you what is really is... It's part of the mouse cursor. :D Which, by the way, is purely a development feature, so you won't be seeing that green arrow running around on the screen in the final game (unless you happen to l...
