Re: Staff, is it possible for you guys to make a map editor?

I've asked before about level editor, but they said they would consider it, but its doubtful.

You can use a program called TexMod to change the textures.

I did some testing earlier:

Are we gonna be able to pre-load on steam before it's released?

Re: EXP and other stuff.

It has some minor RPG elements. From the skill's you can actually see in the demo:

Thief: Can shoot 2 arrows instead of one.
Wizard: Can create 2 box's instead of one.
Knight: Chance to do 5% more damage, IIRC.

Re: Trine PC Priced at $40?

Game's on console cost more because Microsoft and Sony get royalty's, whereas on PC nobody owns the platform.

This talk about Trine being half price on PSN compared to PC is abit of a disappointment though.

Re: Crash

I have a ATI card and it worked for me. Install Trine, then unistall the Physx drivers which are installed with Trine. Then download this: http://www.nvidia.com/object/physx_9.09.0428_whql.html and install in quiet mode with the instructions listed above. You need to have Physx installed even if you...

When you start up the game, click on "Advanced" in the launcher window and untick "Fullscreen."

Try that.

Re: SDK?

Half - life 2 tools arn't that good. There model compiling workflow is terriable, messing about with .txt files and Hammer(there level editor) is very basic and arhaic. Generating lightmaps and computing portals take's. Yet people still mod half - life 2. I think it's fair to say it's not the tools,...

Re: Trine PC Priced at $40?

UT3 is shallow in every aspect. It's also been out awhile now and there's a reason the price got dropped, nobody played it. Why? Becuase it's a shadow of it's former self. I wish people would stop bitching about the price. Frozenbyte have created a unique game with great gameplay and amazing art dir...

Re: SDK?

Well in my opinion, mods for game do actually bring in more players. Take half -life 2 for example, someone might not like the half - life 2 setting, but the ton of mods out there will make people buy the game just for them. Just because shadowlands didn't get the mod attention, shoudn't let you be ...

Low performance

Just got the game Thanx to your generous Trine pre-order incentive. I have all the setting's at maximum at 1600 * 1200 and im getting 17fps according to fraps. Game seems to run fine at the start, then when there's a cutscene or level change, the performance drops. Tried the Alt + Tab fix, but it do...

Re: SDK?

Just checked out the tools for shadowgrounds (didn't know it had tools). They seem very well done, clear interface, nothing looks too complex. I managed too figure a fair bit out before finding the wiki. Is your current workflow still building the modular peice's in a 3d app (Which 3d app do you guy...

Re: Trine now in Steam pre-order

If you bothered to read the steam info, theres 15 levels with achievements, secrets and 3 different characters to play all add to replayability. I heard around 7 - 9 hours of gameplay in another thread.
