Re: Back, and with a few questions

-What are you talking about? Steam has no problems at all on the weekend. -It's really not that big a deal. You trade the ability to sell your games for a convenient, often cheap and invulnerable copy of a game. I don't think I have to tell you how many times I've lost, for example, Diablo 2 discs ...

Re: Back, and with a few questions

Yes, I understand that the problem lies with the developer and proper testing. My gripe with Steam follows: - You must always be connected to play. Whatever happened to the concept of gaming on the go?! I can play Trine on my gaming laptop. I can play while on a plane. Can't do that with Steam games...

Re: Back, and with a few questions

Please please please tell me that a retail box is still in plans. Is Steam required to play multiplayer? I hate Steam (and its concept)! I recently went against my philosophy and got a Steam account to play Magicka. Great game concept, poor quality control and execution. You get a game in a playable...

Re: New gameplay trailer

The first game is incredible looking in stereoscopic 3D. I'm replaying it just to soak in its beauty.

This one should be as fantastic. The game will have nVidia 3D Vision/ 3DTV Play support, right?

Re: New gameplay footage

Hey, I'm a sw developer myself so I know how these things go. Only difference is that a bug in my code may cause harm to little children.

A sw deadline is always a moving target.

Re: New gameplay footage

Uh-oh, I have to wait another couple of months? :( My little girl just asked me about it. C'mon guys, think of the little children everywhere waiting to play this game with their dads.

Offline and Online Co-op

Will the multiplayer co-op campaign support both online and offline at the same time? For example, two players play on the same PC and another player joins the campaign from another PC online? I recently played Magicka with my two kids. We had so much fun playing the co-op campaign offline that I to...

Re: Communication in online Co-Op

I'll see how well this in-game voice chat works. It's not a deal breaker for me. I've always use Skype to sub for games that lack voice chat (or poorly implemented ones).

Re: Trine 2 platforms confirmed: Xbox 360, PS3, PC

Great news! I have all three platforms. :-) I have Trine 1 on both PS3 and PC. I'm primarily a PC gamer. I prefer/collect retail box release and originally did not buy the PC version due to DRM. So I got the PS3 version. When the DRM was dropped, I bought the PC version. I love it, especially the 3D...

Gamepad Problem with Demo

First of all, I'd like to say that I love this game (demo). I'm looking to get a retail version (don't care for steam) as I like (collect) boxed copies of games. Anyway, I played the demo and with my kids. We use the gamepads (Logitech Dual Action and G-Pad Pro). The X-Y axes were set up to use the ...
