Well there's really not much to it - we choose publishers based on who we feel is best for the project. Nowadays we are able to choose pretty much any publisher, and we felt Atlus was the right partner for Trine 2. So far so good. 8)

Did any of the previous publishers ask for a multi-game contract? Did you guys ask for any? Did any other publishers come to you to publish one of your games?

We're not interested in multi-game contracts and nobody asked - we want to retain our independence and choose whatever works best for each project. There was a lot of interest from a lot of publishers regarding Trine 2 and we were able to choose the publisher that we felt was the best partner for Trine 2. And that was Atlus. They're not the world's biggest publisher but they are big enough, and we are already seeing their efforts and resources on the marketing side. They're great to work with so we're very happy. :)
