Any particular reasons this old-school forums are being discontinued/closed? I skimmed through official blog but could not find any info of relevance.

Sorry for the delay. I only now managed to spot your email.

This is because we can no longer keep these up to date and there is unfortunately a lot of spam going on. We were trying to replace the forums with another similar service, but unfortunately this has been postponed for now.
