Do I have to complete a level in one setting?

Postby potatoman » Sat Jul 27, 2013 11:06 pm

If I stop playing half way trough a level and get to a checkpoint, then I have to start all over again with the level. Why doesn't it put me in the level at the checkpoint when I hit "continue" in the meny when I want to start playing again?

Sadly, Trine does not have mid-level saving, the game can only save between levels, which means the times when the map is displayed and the narrator tells more of the story.

This is a technological limitation in the game engine. We fixed it for Trine 2 by spending over a year on rewriting the game engine, but this doesn't help with the original Trine. :(

The only thing I can suggest is cheats but of course that's not ideal.

Sorry about this!
