How to open Trine's .fbz data files?

Postby Severed_Artery » Fri Jun 26, 2009 2:05 pm

I see you guys encoded the files so simple access (Winrar, etc) is not possible.

Is it possible to open the data files somehow? I would like to grab the music files in the game!

Or, you guys should release the MP3's on the site. The soundtrack is absolutely amazing.

I think the sound track was released somewhere... I think I even saw the list of used tracks in the game...

Ah, here we go:

Trine homepage, making of, Ari Pulkkinen interview and from there.

"Is the Trine soundtrack going to be available for purchase?
Yes! The Trine soundtrack is coming on sale on my new site at www.aritunes.com as a downloadable album at the same time as the game is released. "

But I still think I saw at least the track list with song names on it somewhere...

While our encryption is easy to break for sure, there will be separate soundtrack available for purchase at Ari's website. If that's an option for you I'd suggest to check it out, hopefully available very soon at reasonable price. The separate soundtrack has all the songs in very best quality. :)

If the songs have a normal price like $.099 per song i think that would be fair to buy it.

There are 3 songs listed. You get 3 songs and 4 wallpapers if you preorder it there. Problem is that 39.95 Euros isnt really a good deal compared to amazon.co.uk.

I think the complete, official soundtrack which is coming shortly is 19 songs and pricing around 9,95 to 14,95 euros (yet to be confirmed).
