Not for now, maybe later on DLCs, depending on sales that Trine make...

from my side, I preordered!

I was so ready to preorder this, as I played the demo today and loved it. $30 seems a bit steep though, when there is no real idea as to the length of the game or how much content is in it. I am fairly disappointed in that aspect. :( The demo was excellent though and I really hope this game succeeds, but without knowing more, guess I'll wait for a $20 or less sale.

If you bothered to read the steam info, theres 15 levels with achievements, secrets and 3 different characters to play all add to replayability. I heard around 7 - 9 hours of gameplay in another thread.

I did not preorder yet, because as always 1$=1€ on Steam and I don't understand why Europeans should pay more than everyone else for the same thing. The UK price is already close at 20£ (29,99$ = 18,14£) and the EU price should really be around 22€, not 30€. (29,99$ = 21.31€ | 29,99€ = 42.22$)

I hope that someone at Frozenbyte takes a look at this and talks to Steam about it. I really loved the demo and I can't wait to play the full game but what Steam is doing here is bullshit. :|

I can confirm there are 15 levels and they are more or less similar to the second level of the demo in terms of length. Some are longer, some shorter, and the last level is a special surprise. 7-9 hours is the official gameplay estimation for the first playthrough, but since there are so many different gameplay tactics and secrets to find, it gives a lot of replay value.

I cannot comment on pricing unfortunately.

Awww.... :( The steam is still fucking up the pricing... Like what they are thinking?

But anyway, 30€ is still within my price range before I have to start thinking will I buy this game or not. It's just at the very far end of it.

So...

Pre-Ordered. :)

Just preordered my copy :D I find £20 a very fair deal. I mean, CoD4 is still a fully priced game and yet it's possible to complete that in 6hours if your any good, yes it has MP online mode, but Trine has 3player Co-Op and i find the game more fun anyway, Hopefully there will be online coop at some point.

*hint for frozenbyte* I would pay for online coop DLC ! *end of hint* :D :D

I've never played shadowgrounds before so i'm installing that, hope it's good !

Frozenbyte do you know if we will get to preload the game at some point ?

Preload should be available before the launch date, but we don't have exact date yet.

Hope you enjoy Shadowgrounds!

Good to hear ! :D

Yeh so do i, i just checked some reviews.. seems to be OK/Average. But to be honest, alot of the time i find reviewers concentrate farrrrrrrrrr to much on other elements, when in the end all that really counts is how fun the game is. I mean who cares if a game looks rubbish, bad sound, bad presentation if its the funnest game ever ?. And from what i've seen, it looks very fun :D

I think there are only previews, out of which only half of them have played the game, and the preview version used to be a bit older than the demo (same levels though). But, actual reviews should be coming soon! :D (if you find any with a score, please inform us :D )

I just have a worry on 1 thing: Piracy

It seems like people on steam forums complain about no online coop so they will not buy because its 30$ (I think thats 30$ is okay, for a high quality game like this one). And when games dont have online features, people download them more illegaly.

So I hope you will make online possibilities so peoples who have downlaoded it will buy it to enjoy it more.

And for everyone, I hope nobody here will download it (well, I hope nobody on the planet will, but I think its impossible). And by my side I think that piracy on indie games are twice worse than piracy on big companies title because indie games need to sales their games to survive and they often offer better games than big companies that are already rich and doesnt innove on their game.

That's it! Pre-ordered!

Congrats at getting Trine released FB! :) It looks like a lot of fun to be sure. I've been a huge fan of your company since I played Shadowgrounds and Joel gave me continuous support for it when I started having problems :) We need more game devs like you guys, and I can't wait to play Trine.
