When you take into account the bloom effects, physics and all other things in Trine, I highly doubt that PS2 has enough power to run this game at all. In any way, even if it was heavily modified.

Also I doubt FB team will release any games on PS2 in the future either because of the fact that PS2 is just way too underpowered to PS3, XBOX 360 and modern PCs nowadays.
Not all of you have äää's and ööö's :P

Of that I'm not sure.

I assumed the adapter converts it to a fairly generic "gaming device" but I really have no idea.
If it does, I will probably buy one 'cause I ain't having much luck with my logitech one.

Though someone did mention fiddling with axis setup, so I'll give that a go first.

And sorry if my answer seemed blunt/snappy. Happens sometimes ... especially on the internet ;-)

Shaders and bloom are worst effects to hit next gen, developers are so infatuated with them, it glows and shines too much to destroy beauty, it would be painstaking to make Trine for ps2 by using textures instead of nromal maps and shaders, but physics can be done on ps2. I believe it can come with bloom off and more better textures representing actual material quality, because clothes neither shine or glow.

Actually the PS2 really is underpowered it is basically two mips processors with additional vector units which do the heavy lifting for everything additionally to that the ram is really low. It is really a sign of excellent engineering that a game like gods of war could be pulled off on it!
Sure it is possible to make a similar game but it would not be the same anymore, besides that from a developers point of view why even invest years of learning to pull off that game when in a few years time the platform will be legacy!
Unless you have in house expertise it is not worth it anymore, the PS2 is hard to program for and it takes years of learning to pull of something of good quality on it :-(

If you have an adapter, PS2 gamepads should work with both PC and PS3 version.
