LAN might be in the question but online is not. Hamachi FAKES a LAN but in no way could Trine handle an online environment with any amount of ping above 50. There is too much reliance on physics and it wouldn't work if you could see the other players walking in the air and standing on objects not in your game. It would also be very expensive for them to add this option, and even more time consuming. If the game has online, then it is superior to faking a LAN via hamachi. Hamachi should really only be used if the online either is down completely, or doesn't work, then hamachi is the next logical choice. If it doesn't have online, you can bet it won't have LAN.
