animation and attack bug with the knight

Postby syre » Mon Sep 16, 2013 6:54 pm

Hello,
I'm running Trine 2 from Steam on Windows 7.

I'm experiencing a bug in a saved multiplayer game where animations doesn't show if i control a particular character (the knight).
Furthermore attacks may be bugged as well after a certain time (they dont register in the game)
If i use my hammer throw the character will freeze completely for some time.
The other two characters and their animations work as far as i can tell.

The bug persists through a restart of both Steam and the game.
Has anyone experienced something similar and if so, how did you solve it?

Regards.

Have you updated your graphics card drivers? If you haven't you could update them and if you have you could try the older version and see if that has any effect. Could you also send your system specs?

I can try updating, but would graphic drivers cause the knight to not be able to attack as well?

Could you try verifying the game cache in Steam. If that doesn't help at all you could delete the options.txt from %appdata%\Trine2 (you can just copy this to Explorer) and then reinstall the game. Let me know how it goes!
