Help with multiple mice/keyboards?

Postby baboo00 » Sat Jul 25, 2009 3:50 am

I am having a problem with Trine co-op. I did all of the things that were recommended on this forum and others, but it didn't work. Only recently did I figure out what the problem was. My two USB keyboards (both plugged in and installed) are both listed as HID Keyboard Device and when I click on properties for them, they are both in location 0. I un- and re-installed them separately, but they both remained in location 0. I don't know how to change the location of one to make them work separately and if my current driver doesn't allow me to change the location, what driver will.

I'm using two keyboards Dell model SK-8115 and Compaq model SDM4540UL with default Windows XP drivers. (up to date, kbdclass and kbdhid)

I'll ask programmers to look into this, allthough my guess is that this sounds more like a Windows problem. But I can be wrong too :)
