The backups are not working. When I 'm playing and i am making backups it's fine. But, if I leave the game and/or my windows session, my level up saves fades!
I 've tested with Steam Offline or Online.
My PhysX is up to date too.

What can i do ?

Most problems with Steam games are solved by verifying the game's files through Steam. So, I recommend trying this first. Here is how you can do this:

right-click on the game in your Steam Library → click on Properties → choose the local files tab → click the button to verify integrity of game cache

If above didn't help, could you tell what are you trying to take backups of? Could you describe what happes to the levels? How are they fading? Could you also tell what operating system (your version of Windows) you're using and what game did you try to play? Was it Trine or Trine 2?
