Will Trine 2 be longer than Trine 1?

Postby nuss8 » Sat Nov 12, 2011 12:52 am

Hi Guys! I love Trine, unfortunetly Trine 1 was very short in my opinion, but sooo nice to play! So there goes my question, is Trine 2 going to be longer than trine 1? And can you tell how much longer? I'd love to know! :) Thanks! :)

I agree with you because I played Trine 1 in just 3 or 4 days (first time) it was very good but a bit short, I played Trine 1 again cause I really liked it and it took me 5 hours to complete the game. I hope that trine 2 will be longer about 6 or 8 levels long, and the levels should be longer aswell.

Well, so far I know about 13 levels in Trine 2, compare to 15 in Trine 1, but there is probably will be a DLC.

DLC is an extra level when you pass the game, like The Path To New Dawn in Trine 1.

Allright.. I think the levels are to short and to few. Hope the creaters take that as a compliment, because that I in fact want moore... I think its the shortest game I ever played actually... To bad they didnt make moore and longer levels. Because of that it becomes a non compliment instead. I look forward to frozenbytes answear on this :)

I don't like playing Trine on PS3 because its harder than mouse and keyboard on PC, and I find it much easier on PC, like Thief's grappling hook and bow, drawing boxes with Wizard and moving the mouse its much easier for many different reasons.

Don't you like playing it on mouse and keyboard, It's much easier to play if you get use to it.

Actually, that's more like a bonus level.
DLC is something extra (like new map, character, item or whatever) which is usually paid for. For example check the DLC section of Dawn of War 2: Retribution or Modern Warfare 2 and you will see what the DLC can be.

Trine 2 is in my opinion, and by our user test experiences, longer than Trine 1. Especially levels are a lot longer in Trine 2, and puzzles require a lot more this time. (longer levels were possible as Trine 2 supports free saving anywhere in the game)

In addition, replay value of Trine 2 is huge with single player, two player and three players being unique experiences, and in addition there are classic, unlimited and game+ modes supported for huge replay value. 8)

Yes, but it's $0.99 on PSN.

I didn't have a problem with it, but some others didn't like it. If I remember right, there's some business with PSN that wouldn't allow them to release it for free on there. Shame, but for the price of your typical iOS game, it's worth it.
