autolevitation - an oversight?

Postby jtinz » Fri Nov 18, 2011 1:58 pm

When the wizard stands on a box, he cannot levitate it thereby preventing autolevitation.
However, if he stands on a stack of two boxes, he can levitate the lower one and fly around.

As this makes many challenges trivial to solve, I suspect this to be an oversight.

Most if not all of the later game's puzzles are designed in a way that this is useless skill. Also, it requires quite a lot skill to be able to stay on top of the boxes for longer times.

But of course we will monitor how this progresses, as it's easy to prevent indeed.

Actually, you can't do it everywhere. There's a number of spots that allow you to only go so high and then the boxes drop. OF course, there is other areas where you could go to the top of the screen if you do it right.
