What are the controls like?

Postby wubikens » Mon Nov 28, 2011 6:51 am

Been looking at this game on Steam recently, and it looks like it could be a lot of fun. I was wondering though, what are the controls like? Is this a WASD/arrow keys kind of game? Or does it use point-and-click movement?

The game uses WASD as default, but you can bind the keys to your liking.

The movement is dynamic, think of the good'ol platformers like Mario and the original Rayman.
Point-and-click is not supported as it would change the core gameplay radically.

Perfect! Thank you!

I actually dislike PnC movement, so WASD is exactly what I was hoping for. The movement system sounds really nice. :) Definite pre-order for me now. Thank you again.

Heh, Kein is making our lives much easier :)
In a quick glance, Klein has everything right except for push to talk which is "R".

Note about the R-keybinding:
You might have noticed that the R-button has two actions binded to it, Push to talk and Mute. This can be a little confusing but there is a simple answer for this.
There is another option called microphone where you have the option to switch "push to talk" on and off. If its on, R-button is the key you press to talk. If its off, the mic is voice activated and R-button mutes it.

Edit: Oh and just as a sidenote, cheats are disabled in the beta and the fullgame :)
Not even I or Jussi can use them for our testing purposes.
