Frozen Santa's Soundtrack Give-away

Postby fb_santa » Sat Dec 24, 2005 4:17 pm

Ho ho ho!

Frozen Santa is a little late this year - starting out is always hard! But at least there's room for improvement next year!

Since Santa knows that everyone here has been kind and loving, he has decided to give you a little Christmas present in the form of a give-away. Santa's little helpers got their hands on some brand-new Shadowgrounds Soundtracks just two days ago, and Santa was able to get ten (10) Soundtracks!

Santa even got a picture taken by one of the helpers:
Image

Santa's helpers will randomly pick ten (10) winners of those who reply to this thread before the end of the year (31 December is the last day). Guest accounts will not do because Santa's helpers need to be able to contact the winners for delivery address. Santa can deliver everywhere in the world but because it's a busy time, please allow a few weeks for delivery.

Santa loves the Soundtrack and hopes you like it too. Santa wishes everyone a Merry Christmas!

P.S. Santa also knows that the Shadowgrounds patch etc, are coming in January, and Santa hopes that everyone has a little patience with the releases.

That´s a nice idea!! Thanks Frozenbyte! :) Well, I´ve been waiting for the editor but it is very nice that you inform us about the current state of the release and this nice christmas idea makes the time until the tools come out MUCH shorter ;)

Thank You Frozenbyte and "Frohe Weihnachten" from Germany! :)

Hi from France !

I'm currently waiting for your game in France. It is scheduled for January 2006 and I'm very impatient ! A french news site confirmed that there will be coop on LAN (4 players). The game is going to be very fun. As Dalai said, this type of game is very rare in those days. We need more games like this !

Merry Christmas to all.

I have to comment on this before it's too late; there will be no LAN. Probably a misunderstanding of that French site or something. Sorry - I wish I had such good news for Christmas, but unfortunately I don't. :(

But cheers everyone, it's been a fun Christmas so far to me at least.

We have confirmation of the presence of a co-operative mode in LAN up to 4 players.

The LAN coop had been confirmed by the french editor of Shadowgrounds aka "Nobilis".

Seems like my timing is perfect, I just got Shadowgrounds as a christmas present from my brother yesterday, and spent the whole last night playing it. Just a couple of hours ago I complimented the music of the game to my brother and one of my friends, especially the more aggressive tunes played during bossfights. Now, what are the odds that the first thing I find after registering to the forums is this?

Oh, and by the way, since its still christmas day, happy christmas to all of you, forum users and Frozenbyte team members alike!

Eli paljon kiitoksia hyvästä pelistä ja oikein hyvää joulua, odotan jo seuraavaa teostanne!

Geez this game kicks ass! I played it today like 4½ hours with my friend :D First we just ran from A to B killin aliens but after it got harder we really needed some tactics and we had to be careful. The most annoying thing in the game was the lagging with bigger aliens, but music is great! Specially the disco theme was friggin funny in the middle of alien slaughter :D

Happy new year to all Shadowground players!

Santa brought me Shadowgrounds, but seems to have forgotten the soundtrack... :)

Once played it through already, need to try again with different weapons. Great fun in retro spirit, bit too easy for veteran gamers.

Have a good (rest of the year and) new year!

Ok, time's up. All the posts before this are included in the draw. I'll announce the winners later today or early tomorrow.
