Oh my god, it's GORGEOUS!

I've played few missions now and I am in awe 8)
The lighting, atmosphere and weapons are just perfect! I cannot put in words how much I am enjoying this game. I am playing Shadowgrounds with fullest detail, at 1280x resolution and there is absolutely no drop in performance anywhere no matter how much explosions and flying particles are filling the screen. It is perfectly smooth. If I were to point out just one item that really makes the mood, I would say the flashlight. It makes the playing experience really exciting.
And the weapon upgrade option is the cream in a cake. It's just great that not only can you upgrade them, but you can do that the way you want. It is not mandatory to upgrade them in a predefined order, or at all. However, you will notice shortly that it is advisable to upgrade even just the pistol ;)

Oh, and I love the minigun :)

Best regards
-Roamer-

P.S. I laughed at one computer screen that mentioned tallinna and rosella :D

My experience is, that the performance during battles in Singleplayer is way better than in coop. I had some serious slowdowns to only a few fps while playing 2-player-coop, mostly while both players fired automatic weapons such as the minigun or laser gun and were attacked by several aliens (especially the ones, that are capable of ranged combat). The game runs smooth most of the time, though.

Exactly how fast is your computer, Roamer? :D

Mine runs satisfyingly at 1024x, high details and 2x anti-aliasing. My specs are Athlon XP 3200+ and a Radeon 9800 Pro, 1 Gt memory.

Arparso, Tallinna is the Finnish name for the capital of Estonia, Tallinn. Rosella is a boat that takes finns to visit that city :)
