The Edge of the World

Postby Sampo » Sat Nov 12, 2005 2:50 pm

I just wanted to share this with you all :)

Image

I was wandering around and trying to find some ammo in the sixth level, the science-place. I walked past some trees and I found myself in a chasm between a building and a cliff. I continued walking and soon there was only straight land. I couldn't see myself on the map, and there I was, at the end of the world :)

Check this map if you want to get to see it for yourself. You can also go to swim there, because this one passage grants you the way to all the waters in the level :P

And Frozenbyte guys can fix this bug if they want :)

P.S.: A bonus image: some underwater sights :P

Found a way to the edge of the world in Provectus level :D It was not so juicy as the first Edge of the World occasion so no screenshots :) Just find some debris in the far right side of the level. You'll be in the right place when you can get under the debris.

I also stumbled upon the edge of the world :)

And it caused me a lot of trouble, because when I was just making my way around the building, suddenly it jump to a cutscene. I must of triggered some waypoint in the middle of nowhere :)

In the end, I couldn't continue because I just could not find anything to do :) There must be an order to the tasks.

Interesting. Could you give me some details (which level, where the cutscene got triggered etc.) You certainly shouldn't get stuck if you complete the tasks in a wrong order.

Alien Mothership Part I: The Edge of the World III:

From there, just go straight :) It was quite hilarious, one of the giant monsters showed me the way by walking through the walls. There is not much to see, expect you can hear the rain. That's right, rain in an alien mothership in space :P For now, this is the last edge of the world experience I'm going to post here :)

The level is: "New Atlantis: Research sector"

And heres a picture to show where to go. I'm not 100% sure about the location you exactly have to go, but I think it should be around the green circle.

And the "Dr Weiss is trapped" cutscene begins and my guy just jumps from the outside to inside the building.

Because I'm such a nice guy, I made a video of the buggy run :)

Runtime: 1min 20sec
Format: XVID
Size: 11Mb
Resolution: 512 x 384

You can start your own journey at the 6th level, after the bridge:

Makinentoni, I encountered that same thing :) Just wait for the place where you can walk through the walls and you can hear the rain in outer space :P
