Splot will be announced as part of the Humble Frozenbyte Bundle.

I'll update this post asap when I get some more time and the bundle is live. :)

I have no idea who the mystery characters could possibly be. SO MYSTERIOUS!

I have no idea even what you are supposed to do or how this would be different to other platformers.

That reminds me of a plattformer I did for a while ago. xD

Those lighting effects and level design strongly remind me of Gish.
There's even an Egyptian-themed level... :3c

I spent 15 minutes to get used to its control, but hey, Splot flash demo is really cool. I like it. :P

ps 'w' key also means contact jump. You can use it to bounce against wall or survive the deadly spike. Will Splot support Xbox 360 controller?

Quite enjoyed the demo - but it'd be nice to have checkpoints halfway through some levels *cough* level 5 *cough*. It gets annoying dying on the last section and then having to redo the whole thing. Multiple times. When you're going for all the stars :P

Yeah, real-time save would be great.

It's a snapshot of work-in-progress, so we'll add a few features more and generally balance all the levels better.

Missing features coming shortly includes "aimed jump" which allows you to make precise jumps, and various combo/scoring methods, to mention a few. Also visuals will be improved with textures and lights. :)

Finished game will have stand-alone builds and a Flash version.

Ah, good, being limited by flash's terrible performance would be a shame.

Hmm. Somehow a one-eyed legless Zoya doesn't appeal much to me...

Legless, fair enough, but who said anything about one-eyed?

I think I spent a little too much time looking at the cow.
