Trine 2 FPS caps/vsync on Mac

I searched for this a lot but could not find any information. In OS X Trine 2 seems to completely ignore vertical sync and frame limiting. Changing settings in the launcher, options.txt, or in-game FPS cap seem to do nothing. Is this known, and if so, are there any plans to fix it?

Trine 1 ignores vsync on OS X as well, but it's not so bad because the maximum is 66 FPS, so the game always looks smooth. In Trine 2 I regularly get 70 and 80+ FPS which actually looks far less smooth than 60-66.

Sorry to hear about the troubles! Thank you for letting us know. The FPS cap will be fixed, not sure though when we will be able to release the fix. As for the vsync unfortunately we still need to figure out how to solve it.
