Trine won't start on my macbook

Hoi a Hoi,

I just bought trine off the mac store cause it looked awesome and my friend also recommended it.
So it's all downloaded and when i open it up and click launch it comes up with this error. (see attachment)
It's just a little annoying casue i was excited to play something new :)

If anyone has any idea what i can do please let me know!

Sorry to hear!

Can you post your Macbook specs, or information on when you bought the Macbook?

The game won't run on Intel-based graphics solutions, but any ATi or NVIDIA graphics card should work ok. If it turns out you have an Intel solution then let's see what our options are.

Hmm, looks like your Macbook should in fact be able to run Trine.

Out of curiosity, your Mac OS X version is 10.6.6, right? It's required for the Mac App Store so I assume so, but I want to confirm because Trine requires 10.6.5 or newer (10.6.6 is fine).

Try using the lowest graphics settings, and also untick (or tick if it's unticked) the Fullscreen box in the Launcher. Turn off any antialiasing etc too if you've changed them. Let me know if that helps... If not then I'll ask around in the office on Monday and see if anyone else has any ideas...

Ok, so i clicked the fullscreen box which turned it off and Trine opened up, but HUGE!! I could only see the trine name but not the start button or options etc.
So i quit and opened it again and checked the screen resolution. It was on custom so i changed it to 1280x800 and now it works fine.

Thanks for your help! I'm keen to play it now!

But my problem occurs with ShadowGrounds and ShadowGrounds: Survivor. Trine works fine, and its a pretty amazing game =]
