md5sum f310a51fd498dccf387742a7d695d15e

- Fixed a bug with multiple joysticks/pads where some axis/buttons were read only from the first controller. Multiple joysticks and pads should now be supported correctly.

Please test this - if it works and nothing has broken it will become an official update.

Will this update be making its way to our Humble Frozenbyte Bundle pages? Because that would be great!

Here's what i did and what i got:
~/.frozenbyte/Trine2$ chmod +x trine-bin64
~/.frozenbyte/Trine2$ ./trine-bin64
./trine-bin64: error while loading shared libraries: libavcodec.so.52: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

I'm on Ubuntu 12.04 64bit. Looking at the Software center, i seem to have the package libavcodec53 installed. Version mismatch?

Hi guys, there's something new about the sharedlibraries issue?
I have the same problem but with Trine 1 and Ubuntu 12.04 32 bit.

Code: Select all

sudo sh ./trine-launcher
./trine-launcher: 2: [: i686: unexpected operator
./trine-bin32: error while loading shared libraries: libavcodec.so.51: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Let me know if you solved it.
Thanks

Do not run Trine as root. Unpredictable results may occur.

"trine-launcher" is a bash script. It must be executed with "bash" not "sh" .

The correct version of libavcodec was shipped with the game. If for some reason the game can't find it try starting with

Code: Select all

LD_LIBRARY_PATH=./lib32 ./trine-bin32

Replace 32 with 64 for the 64-bit version.

The above should not be necessary since the binary has RPATH set. However some systems seem to ignore this. If anyone knows why this happens I would be interested.

libavcodec is tricky about version numbers. Any other version except the one shipped is unlikely to work.
