Linux Trine 2 - Insubstantial Leaf Platform?

I had a strange experience in one of the areas, after causing one of the giant plants to grow into a platform.

At first, my character wasn't able to actually land on the leaf at all (although the wizard's summonings seemed to interact properly). I apologize for the crappy framerate (and for it being a whole-desktop video instead of just the relevant window), but here's a video of what I'm talking about:

I was able to make the leaf move around slightly if I landed dead center (I assume that was me hitting the stem, and not the leaf itself).

Interestingly, though, after I saved the game and launched Trine 2 again later, I was able to land on the leaf as I'd expect, but the leaf itself was invisible until I had actually done so. You can see that (again with the crappy framerate and desktopness) here:

I assume that the two separate glitches are probably related somehow, though it's not that big of a deal given that I'm now past that gap.

This was running on Linux Fedora 17 x86_64, with the binary nVidia drivers 295.59. Let me know if you need more info!

Hello xolotl!

Thanks for the report, this issue was introcuded in the recent patch and our programmers are aware of it.
Hopefully this'll get fixed soon, but at the moment only fix seems to be indeed to save&reload the game.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

No worries, and thanks for the update! Trine 2 is plenty enough fun to make up for minor inconveniences like this.

Figured I might as well note a couple of similar things I noticed over the weekend while finishing the game up.

First, a door near the end of the game didn't actually trigger open for me on my first playthrough, but when I quit and reloaded the game, it opened as it should: - one interesting thing is that that only happened on my first playthrough of the level. When I played through again collecting Experience that I had missed, the door opened just fine. On the playthrough where the door didn't open, the Fire Berzerker (or whatever they're actually called) was actually stuck on the far side of the door - I could only damage him with Pontius' sword, through the gate.

Secondly, twice I noticed that the growing tree which connects the penultimate level to The Final Chapter had the actual trunk graphics missing: - the trunk appeared as soon as a character got close enough to touch it, though, similar to the leaf from above. This actually only happened on my second and third playthroughs of that level; my first time through it looked fine.
