Linux: How to get mouse out of window

Postby Techrosis » Wed Apr 13, 2011 4:06 pm

I really want to play this in windowed mode so that i can play it at work :D . However I need to be able to minimize the game and I can't for the life of me figure out how to get the mouse OUT of the window to minimize. I'm running Kubuntu 10.10 with KDE 4.6.2 if that helps. Windowed mode works fine I just need to reclaim the mouse to the desktop to be able to minimize. Any suggestions?

Okay so after doing some more research it appears that in MS Windows you can alt-tab from the game in windowed mode. This isn't working for me either. Is it a restriction of the linux version or a limitation of KDE??? This really sucks as (believe it or not) i have more time to play at work than at home but without being able to minimize I'm not gonna be able to play.

I'm running Ubuntu 10.10 with Gnome and am having the same problem. Task switching with Alt-Tab does not work.

You can use Ctrl-G to grab/ungrab mouse input in windowed mode.

Can you include this info in the README in a future update?
Thanks.
